And BTW oxygen thief SENATOR BOXER! The General was addressing you as he would a female that was superior in rank to him in the Army, MA’AM! No different at all than using “Sir” to address a male officer of superior rank. Of course the equal option in military protocol is to use the rank (rounded up when appropriate as in addressing or presenting a Lt. Col. as Colonel). But the SENATOR is not a rank now is it Senator Boxer?
A prime example of why I would never ever be a general at that level. To have to put up with that kinda crap from such a worthless self important scumbag would be well beyond my tolerance level. That woman should have had a boot planted so far up her ass so far that she tasted Kiwi for a week a very long time ago.
I remember Boxer’s idiotic complaint. General Walsh did not loose a beat.

Omigod! I remember Senator Boxer’s idiotic complaint!
Definite shades of Janus …

Double blind?
Hey _Jim,
How about giving Chris Barron a good thrashing. He needs some one new to take a shot at him.
Nice vid…sums up the “Noble Progressive” scum.
+1
In American military protocol, a US Senator rates the same treatment as a Major General or Rear Admiral. Of course, if you aren’t a consummate career manager, you won’t even make it to Major/Lieutenant Commander. Flag officers know that Senator Boxer has more clout than they do and act accordingly.
The urban coast pretty much dominates the political scene here in California. It is solidly Democratic save for a few pockets such as Atherton where Carly has her home.
Simon & Garfunkel wrote a song about her, “The Boxer’. As I recall the chorus goes like this…
“Lie, lie, lie… lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie… (repeat ad nauseum)”
Looks like a homage to Zardos :

Boxer told the General that she “worked hard to attain the title of Senator?” No she didn’t. She was losing to Bruce Hershenson when at the last minute her campaign pulled dirty maneuvers and accused Bruce of renting porn movies. Bruce had no time for a rebuttal … and the election swung to Boxer by a few votes. I worked on Bruce’s campaign in a small way, so I remember it well. Boxer … a stupid fraud and typical of the California liberal elite. Here’s a reflection of the Government Racket in California. Its alive and well. That’s why we have a 48 hour media blackout on political electioneering in Aus.
Any last minute lie by any scumbag politician can be exposed by honest media after the 48 hour blackout – if there is such a thing as honest media anymore.
Not yet. She’s a democrat. And they lie.
Can you imagine the economic progress California would have made under a Republican led administration? Think of the wasted tax dollars that could have been given back to the tax payer, who then could have spent that money in a more enlightened way.
One item did impress me about Barbara Boxer. She only passed three minor bills while in office. If we could only get the rest of our representatives to be so ineffective, we might be able to hold onto more of our hard earned dollars.
Republicans like Arnold Schwarzenegger? (now there is real drum beater for the climate hoax), Lindsey Graham? Chris Christie? John McCain? John Boehner? etc. I don’t think party label by itself means anything effective. However your point about having the bad ones be more ineffective/in active might actually be a net good. Unfortunately that is the state of things.
The actual voting has nothing to do with the damage done. It is all the back room, closed door shenanigans that matter. Edward Kennedy had a 3% voting record but did a great deal of damage.
The reason for the non-voting is so that the people have no idea of what there reps are actually up to.
If the voting record is not ~80% we should automatically fire their asses!

Gail I’m a dumb Canuck …. could u explain Ted’s 3% voting record? Are u saying he was absent for 97% of votes?
Yes Ted Kennedy did not vote 97% of the time. At least while I was still in Taxachussetts. I looked up his record while arguing with my neighbor about how much Teddy did for MA.
He never could answer my question about exactly WHAT Teddy had done for us but voted for him anyway. Talk about brainwashed…
I guess faucahontas is a worthy successor to Teddy.
“He never could answer my question about exactly WHAT Teddy had done for us but voted for him anyway. Talk about brainwashed…”
You mean brain death.
God, you would have to come up with something nice to say about the old bitty! Now I am going to have to like her. 3 bills in 24 years. That is the kind of rep we should all have!
I understand Boxer’s retirement will raise the IQ of the senate by at least 6 points.
…Might reach double digits…
Paradoxically, it will also raise the average IQ of the California electorate when she moves back home.

Now that’s scary. But not unexpected…
Hmmm … shades of Elizabeth Warren in that. Save the master tape or file, it may come in handy in a term or two …
What an utter cow.
Don’t insult Ole’ Nellie, she had more smarts that Boxer.
A possible Democratic contender for Barbara Boxer’s seat:

He can buy it whenever he wants. Boxer proved you do not need brains.
