“I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”

– Barack Obama  2008

“Read my lips! No new taxes!”

We are ruled by sociopaths — and unfortunately they also control the election process. There must be a way out.

  2. futuret says:

OUR INCOMES ARE EVAPORATING INTO THE CLOUDS, WE ARE BECOMING A NATION OF NONE OTHER THAN PROFESSIONAL BEGGARS. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING, AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE SITTING DOWN. OBAMA WANTS TO OFFER FREE COLLEGE, YES YOU DO NOT HAVE A VISUAL NOR HEARING PROBLEM, HE WANTS TO OFFER FREE COLLEGE TO ALL STUDENTS REGARDLESS OF INCOMES, AT COMMUNITY COLLEGES NATIONWIDE. NOW, HE EXPECTS ALL TAXPAYERS TO FIT THIS BILL. BEFORE ALL, THERE IS NOT GOING TO BE A PLAN LEFT AND THERE IS NOTHING GOING TO BE ANY MONIES TO PLEDGE. I TOLD YOU THAT YOU SHOULD BE SITTING DOWN FOR THIS ONE, AND I HOPE THAT YOU WERE.

  3. SMS says:

Obamacare was declared a tax by the SCOTUS. It hit the middle class pretty hard.

  4. ralphcramdo says:

I got a $200 bonus check from my work for Christmas. The taxes amounted to 31%.

  5. Keitho says:

Obama lied. In other news water is wet.

    A reminder for those who
forgot or for many that didn’t know

    Here is what happened on
    January 1, 2015 :

    Top Medicare tax went from
    1.45% to 2.35%

    Top Income tax bracket went
    from 35% to 39.6%

    Top Income payroll tax went
    from 37.4% to 52.2%

    Capital Gains tax went from
    15% to 28%

    Dividends tax went from 15%
    to 39.6%

Estate tax went from 0% to
    55%

    These taxes were all passed
only with democrat votes, no republican voted for these
    taxes

    These taxes were all passed
under the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.

  7. slimething says:

Oh and my employer paid health insurance is now over $20k a year, not including my co-pay and deductibles. Soon we will be considered a Cadillac plan and will be taxed heavily. It has gone up over $4,000 since Obamacare was passed. I’m still waiting for the $2500 savings Obama promised for a family of four, which we are.
