In other words, if you are a scientist funded by global warming research money, you make up whatever lie best suits your current funding requirements.
That added sea ice could be the result of the minus 100 degree temperatures currently being experienced in Antarctica. Now, I’m not a climate scientists, and I find that most of those claiming to be climate scientists are not qualified to be climate scientists; which brings me to the all important question, “how effing stupid are these people”?
The scientists down there just should add some of their skin to the game: why not do a “pledge against dangerous CO2 emssions in the Antarctic” and dont use evil fossil fuel heating starting next year. With global warming worse than ever, and the hottest year sure to come in 2015 there is no risk, and they could really do good for gaia….

Tony Worby forgot to explain how the depletion of ozone in the stratosphere over the South Pole which peaks in the Antarctic spring (September) and is back to normal by Antarctic mid-summer (December) affects the Antarctic winds which cause the growth of ice in the Antarctic fall and winter(February onwards).

How long have climate scientists known this? How long have they been predicting record-breaking high Antarctic sea-ice from winds driven by the Ozone hole and greenhouse gasses? I must have missed it because this is the first I’ve heard of such a thing.
I mean, they must have known this for some time now; and been making predictions, say for the last five or ten years – that Antarctic sea-ice would be at a record-breaking high level now. They couldn’t have just made this up post-hoc. Could they?
Yeah – record amounts of sea ice couldn’t be because it’s frigging cold. Couldn’t be. That’s too logical, and it defies all the predictions. So, it must be CO2 and the ozone hole. ROTFLOL
They also need to make up their minds; the sea ice is either growing, or it is shrinking. Reports of record sea ice causing trouble getting supplies in contradict the volcanic West/peninsula melting news stories (which are worded as if the entire continent is melting). Natural climate change deniers should stop contradicting one another. But that’s the kind of stuff that occurs when you’re flying by the seat of your pants trying to CYA. Post-hoc puts it mildly.

Tony, you need to learn the difference between weather ice and climate ice. Also, there is wind ice and temperature ice. Ozone hole ice and greenhouse ice. Most important is emperor penguin ice and adele penguin ice.

Congress should cut-off all global warming-related funding to universities and scientists promoting this unscientific nonsense. At the same time, they should drive a stake through the heart of NASA GISS and NOAA NCDC. Both agencies have ceased to engage in science and have taken up “climate change” politicking. Those at the top should be investigated for fraud.
