Climate BS Takes Only Milli-Seconds To Be Detected

ScreenHunter_2189 Jun. 03 07.43The warming from carbon dioxide released by burning a lump of coal exceeds the heat generated by the combustion in just 34 days.

It takes 45 days for oil combustion and 59 days for natural gas to achieve comparable warming to that generated by burning the respective fuel.

This shows that global warming does not take years and decades for its effects to be felt, shows a study by climate scientists at the Carnegie Institution for Science.

Global warming: Greenhouse gas warming takes only weeks to be felt

Only problem is, the atmosphere is not warming up.

It doesn’t matter how beautiful your theory is, it doesn’t matter how smart you are. If it doesn’t agree with experiment, it’s wrong.

ooooh groan..another for the stupid files

  2. bleakhouses says:

No need for the graph, the claim puts forward the false exponential growth theory. If every bit of combustion, ever, further increases warming, we would have been burnt up long ago.

  3. Glacierman says:

This is full on bull shit. The Earth would be boiling if what they are saying is true. A never ending, ever increasing feedback of heat. Feynman was right – Their theory doesn’t agree with the data……Their theory is wrong – no matter how many times they repeat it.

And it should have happened many years ago.
Here are five coal seams that have been burning for a long time.
      1. Brennender Berg, Germany – between the towns of Dudweiler and Sulzbach-Neuweiler, under which a seam of coal has been burning for over 300 years.
      2. The Smoking Hills of Canada – Discovered in 1826 – Unknown start date
      3. Burning Mountain, Australia – Estimates of how long it has been burning range from 5,000 to 15,000 years!
      4. Centralia, Pennsylvania, USA – to make room for more garbage, volunteer firefighters ignited a fire to clean it out on May 27, 1962. That started the fire down a coal seam
      5. Emalahleni, South Africa – Transvaal and Delagoa Bay Collieries were abandoned in 1953 without reclamation, and parts of the mines have been on fire ever since.

      Other coal fires –
Queergou Coal Fire Area, Xinjiang – Starting date: Unknown, probably centuries ago Amplitude: 75,000 m2 are burning
Rujigou coal field, Ningxia Starting date: Reported to have started sometimes during the late Qing Dynasty (1644-1911)
Amplitude: 7 coal seams are affected by a huge uncontrolled fire. The considered zone is 15 km long, 8 km wide and 20 m deep.

And the Door to Hell- natural gas field in Derweze, Ahal Province, Turkmenistan. The Door to Hell is noted for its natural gas fire which has been burning continuously since it was lit by Soviet petroleum engineers in 1971.

Further, using the statement “burning a lump of coal” clearly shows ignorance about how coal is now burned in the vast majority of power and industrial applications. Coal is pulverized to a nearly baby powder fine dust before being injected into boilers or other combustion chambers such as that for rotary kilns for several reasons.

    1. Because that maximizes the efficiency of combustion and thus increases BTUs produced while minimizing the resulting ash and clinkers.
    2. Because it allows far better control to meter the amount of coal being fed into the boiler.
    3. The Pulverizing process allows removal of non coal and non combustible elements found in mined coal such as pyrites.

This is great news. If man-made CO2 emissions act that fast to cause the planet to warm, then this study confirms the effect of man-made CO2 emissions to be relatively benign as confirmed by the satellite data, the long pause in global temperature, and the continued rise in man-made CO2 emissions in the atmosphere.

  6. jimmy Haigh says:

    Pure drivel.

  7. As usual, the numbers are made up. If they don’t show their math, there is none. If I had done a paper where I did calculations like this, I’d be proud enough of my method to include it in the paper, but they don’t show their math.

These people can’t even do basic arithmetic.

Now i Wonder why planet earth did not became a fireball or a second sun 5 seconds after Benz invented the first car.

You must have a digital BS detector………I use a dog who always goes for the largest pile.

  10. Caleb says:

But this is wonderful news! A few more coal fires, and we will have no more winter heating bills, no more energy-poverty, no more elderly freezing because they can’t afford to both eat and heat. /sarc

  11. Axe Man says:

Well I got a laugh out of it, all most “climate science” is good for though sadly.

  12. AntiLieGuy says:

All of this is LIES! Planet X is causing the “climate change”. Thats what the chemtrails sprayed every day globally are hiding. The day of the next flase flag using the nuke the govt stole in 2007 and blamed on Iran, will be the day amerikka-the-stupid will be annihilated by Russia, China and the SCO. Planet X will end this war but 90% of amerikkans will be dead by then. All planned for centuries by those “gods” who made us to be slaves.

  14. AndyG55 says:

bush fires produce an incredible amount of CO2…

and like all heat generated on the planet, the heat from bushfires is quickly dissipated

maybe bushfire CO2 is a different from coal CO2 ?

  15. Rosco says:

A child with a magnifying glass on a sunny day knows there is no power like the Sun’s radiation.

Unfortunately University lecturers fail to grasp this simple indisputable truth when the teach their absurd greenhouse effect which claims the Sun’s radiation is equivalent to the radiation the Earth emits.

    How stupid is that ?
