Katherine Hayhoe has been pimping the global warming driven drought idea endlessly to anyone stupid enough to listen to her.
Anyone who actually knows anything about Texas climate knows that it is driven by ENSO, and that Texas gets dry when the Pacific Ocean is cold. Now that the Pacific is in its warm phase, Texas is wet.
There is no long-term trend in Texas drought.
Katherine Hayhoe doesn’t appear to understand anything about the actual climate of the planet we live on, but is considered an expert because she parrots the mindless propaganda which progressives want to hear.

When the Donald takes office, she’ll be fired.
Trump is going to be the President of Texas Tech?
Nah, he’ll just buy it.
Texas Tech’s endowments alone are worth nearly one billion dollars, that of course does not include buildings, real estate, employees, and related infrastrucure. Trump cannot afford that tab without bankrupting his empire, as he is worth less than four billion dollars.
Yeah, let’s argue about Donald Trump, now.
‘Tis the seaon!
It’s quite a long shot that Trump will even get the Republican nomination. Funny as hell. Donald Trump says some things that sane people have been waiting for any public figure to say for years now and the left goes absolutely bonkers. Now I’m not saying I want Trump to be the Republican candidate. I just don’t think he is quite presidential material but I am saying that it is just funny as hell when CNN mentioned him 239 times in 24 hours. I did the math. That’s “Donald Trump” being uttered once very 6.25 minutes on that station. There could be no better indicator that he really is getting under their skin except perhaps the oh so thin skinned POTUS ordering the FAA to rename certain navigation points that were named for Trump or something related to him.

Typical media stuttering. OCD activity. Trump isn’t a Bilderberg gangster, unlike the Clintons and the Bushes. Nor is he Skull and Bones like Kerry, Gore and the Bushes.
It’s the same old tune, with a portion of the PhD culture telling the intellectual inferiors whichever fancy of the day that comes to mind, just to save the earth from their fellow man who happens to be destroying gaia (in their minds)…
Whenever I bring up the obvious and verifiable geo-physical cyclic structures (in reference to AGW) it always turns to “well, eventually we’ll run out of oil”.
““well, eventually we’ll run out of oil”.
Just tell them that “oil from coal” is a known process, just not economically viable yet.
That really gets them going! 😉
Never mind coal, tell em about natural gas. Where did all that natural gas come from? (hint: it contains helium. What biological process produces helium? Carboniferous my butt.)
