Tomorrow will be the day when detailed climate analysis becomes readily available to everyone.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Steven,
Thanks so much – looking forward to it!
Thanks, Steven aka Tony, for exposing the arrogant world leaders that tried to stop the FORCE that gives, sustains and drives the evolution of LIFE.
Awesome Steve. Thanks again for this, this will act as a force multiplier for what you’re doing. I was thinking a good way to expose it would be to do a “young scientist” challenge for high school kids to compare and contrast the published and raw data for their local area. Hash tag on Twitter, a facebook page, front page on Climate Depot for a few days, or maybe a section where kids can submit their “guest reports” right here on Steve Goddard’s place where millions can see it. Let Rush talk about it for a half hour and interview you! It might really start to sink in that what they’re being taught in school is in direct opposition to what observers see in their area every day. That would be quite a powerful rebuke to the Climate Industrial Complex.
Great, looking forward to it.
Just make sure that you archive ALL raw data as they NOAA are likely to obliterate it
I am going to start mirroring their data to keep them from being upset about the traffic.
Can you explain to this dumb truck driver exactly what that means?
Mirroring just means that steven is going to make a copy of the data, and serve requests to it to his copy, rather than sending requests to the official servers.
Fantastic.
We go from one person (Anthony) fact checking NASA/NOAA/Climate Central/Hayhoe/Dessler/Mann to hundreds 100s of people.
This is just the beginning.
Just a question, will this be just available for U.S. data or does it include data for other countries?
First version will be US only but I will add capabilities for other countries in the near future.
Awesome! This is gonna be great!
The question has always been, Y-in-‘ell would they leave the original data up/available/extant? Not only is it a fire-able federal offence to purge the data (lose your job, pension and never work in the Gov’t again), but if the Rs win the WH, they can just switch horses midstream and say, “we were just doing the Big Man’s BS-bidding to keep our jobs.” BTW, the SC. DNR has a 110-yr link which sez it all. Chacha
For those worried about the raw data, the original monthly forms sent in by the observers in the USA can be found at
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/IPS/coop/coop.html?
Many are handwritten, and newer one are computer generated forms of daily data entered electronically. So these show the observations before NWS “QC” on them to screen out gross errors (mostly, but not always, a valid process), and way before NCDC gets to insert a warming signal.
I’m the NWS co-op observer for Coal Creek Canyon, CO, about 10 miles SW of Boulder and 4000 feet higher. The monthlies for that station are at:
http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/IPS/coop/coop.html?_page=2&state=CO&foreign=false&stationID=051681&_target3=Next+%3E
and the data shown is always what I entered at the end of the month. There is no tampering or adjustment that I’ve found. If you pick one from the 1990s you’ll find the handwritten versions; the early 2000s have versions I printed on my home computer (in lovely dot-matrix), and the newer ones are generated by NWS/NCDC using my entered data.
But again, it is all original data, entered by the observer.
It is also free for all, I think.
Can’t wait to see what Steve has. Hopefully the exact same data, but more accessible than reading PDFs.
Just fired it up. Worked perfectly!
Impressive, downloaded it copied the few files and it worked perfectly 1st time without fault.
This is just a fantastic breakthrough in the War of Information.
