Overheated Atmosphere Update

As predicted by the experts, a massive CO2 anti-bubble (or is it anti-CO2 bubble?) has settled in over North America. But not to worry – after NOAA tampering this may well be one of the hottest months ever.

That map is showing Celsius right?

    • Gail Combs says:

Has to be North Carolina very very rarely gets below 0F and while it is chilly it is still getting into the 40s -60s and barely going below freezing at night.

(No frozen solid stock tanks so far this year.)

      • RAH says:

I bet you get some hard freeze this year Gail. Frozen stock tanks and bringing the kids inside to protect them kind of temps.

        • Gail Combs says:

RAH, we already have kids dropping so, yeah fencing off an area in the kitchen for them again or setting up the big dog cage. The joys of kid raising.

It is fishing the ice out of frozen tanks and adding hot water that I hate.

  2. Freddy Boom-Boom says:

Surely it’s very hot….somewhere. Venus perhaps?

  3. RAH says:

The thing is that the cold is going to hang around past the new years. Possibility of new record lows being set in Iowa and Nebraska. Temperatures in western Iowa and eastern Nebraska will be running 30 to 40 deg. F below average for the next five days!

  4. Andy DC says:

Duluth is -12 F during the warmest time of the day. -20 F just north of Lake Superior and -31 F on the southwest shores of Hudson Bay. This is no “cold snap” either as the cold goes on and on for many days. I imagine a pretty complete flash freezing of the Great Lakes over the next week.

Now the great debate can begin in the media as to whether warmth created cold is worse than the cold created cold from days of yore. Only someone with a single digit IQ would buy into that kind of drivel.
