Science : UHI And El Nino Caused by CO2

Our top climate experts have determined that the recent El Nino and Urban Heat Island effects in large cities over the past 30 years were caused by CO2 emissions.

Global Warming Is Getting Worse, Fast

Besides their baseless flawed logic, their statistics are also completely fake.  The frequency of hot days is down almost 50% since the 1930’s.

As CO2 has increased, the frequency of hot days has decreased. The exact opposite of what climate experts claim.

1901 had some actual heatwaves – unlike the imaginary ones climate experts focus on now. CO2 was below 300 PPM.

Later in July 1901, the heatwave expanded to Europe

THE HEAT WAVE IN EUROPE.; Numerous Deaths in London — Effects of Drought Serious — No Signs of a Change in England.

And continued into August.

UNPRECEDENTED HEAT IN ITALY.; Vineyards Shriveled Up — People Forced to Sleep in the Open Air.

As far as I can tell, everything climate experts believe has no basis in reality. Other than the need to keep funding coming in.

I think one of the reasons why global warmongering took off is because the level of “the science” is at the same level as that of Joe (and Joanne) Public. And Politicians.

  2. Redford says:

43°c is nothing amazing for Italia. They reached 50°c in Sardaigne in august 2017 (49 in Napoli)

If the website says “Truthdig,” should we immediately assume it is hype and lies? (or maybe Russian propaganda since Russian editor which automatically ties it to the Internet Research Agency and call Muller to subpoena bank records?, joking for latter, more just brainwashed reporters with a progressive left agenda regurgitating anything which fits in AGW narrative and ignoring digging into Truth.)

Say, “Highest temperatures rose by 0.19°C per decade over the five decades. … Over the last 30 years, they rose by almost 0.25°C per decade. Extreme heat readings in Paris, Moscow, Tokyo and other cities rose by as much as 0.6°C per decade during those years. One heat extreme in 2003 claimed 70,000 lives in Europe. Another in Russia in 2010 killed nearly 55,000.” – ??

I guess I missed seeing all those catastrophic deaths in the news caused by a rounding error on the thermometer per decade while afternoon highs temps have been falling over the same decades, thanks to Tony for repeatedly pointing that out.
[and if instead of looking at 30 years, if looked at last 20 which covers deaths cited, the upward temperature rise trend rounding error they cite disappears]

I will at least give credit for mentioning El Niño, something other “reporters” conveniently skip,
“El Niño – a dramatic rise in ocean surface temperatures in the eastern Pacific – is in part the cause.”
Now since El Niño over and La Niña, last (1/2018) UAH satellite data says lower troposphere temperature anomaly since 1978 for tropics is now negative or cold -0.12°C (all 20S-20N latitude) -0.12°C (land) -0.11°C (ocean)
    https://www.nsstc.uah.edu/data/msu/v6.0/tlt/uahncdc_lt_6.0.txt
Does that mean 100,000s fewer heat related deaths for 2018, or is it all made-up news? Or should I look forward coming year for next truth story from “Truthdig” “news” where record heat causes record cold and deaths similar to Obama climate czar John Holdren hype on jet stream and polar vortex (same JH who also advocated forced abortions and poisoning drinking water to control population growth). I get some science and some say that cold weather ends up killing 20 times as many people as hot weather.

I get tired of years of seeing AGW news which is patently false, or just opinion or hype just put out as fact for mass consumption, Newspeak.
1.) Reporters are just selling tabloid hype disguised as news to get a read.
2.) Reporters do not do research anymore trying to find truth.
3.) Editors have a narrative, and only publish what fits in.
4.) Reporters actually believe what they say as religion and are trying to save planet by spreading word, but what they see is only confirmation bias and they are blind.
5.) A dark force has descended (Google, Facebook, Soros, IRA, Perkins Coie, et al) to shape public opinion like farmers growing corn, and money is involved (Musk, Tesla subsidies, Solyndra, et al).
    I can not really decide.

Any untampered, Paris region longer term temperature data?

We already KNOW that there has been ZERO warming Japan since 1998

    https://s19.postimg.org/s9bwikr0z/Japan_post_1998.png

And apart from a slight step around 1990-1998, no warming from 1950-1990

    https://s19.postimg.org/6kzq5cxdf/japan1950-1990.png

So heat in Tokyo is NOT due to “global” anything.

Let’s look at some real data from around Russia.

OK, so NO SIGN Of any “warming”, let alone “global” there.

Could it be that Moscow has a growing population of over 12 million ??

    8 U.S. Code § 2071 – Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally

    (a) Whoever willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing, filed or deposited with any clerk or officer of any court of the United States, or in any public office, or with any judicial or public officer of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
    (b) Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States. As used in this subsection, the term “office” does not include the office held by any person as a retired officer of the [armed forces.]

  6. David M. says:

    Three points:

    1) Tony, the graphs’ message is emphasized by their juxtaposition and other elements of composition. My compliments.
    2) Might cause & effect explain the decline in 95+F days with increasing atmospheric CO2? Increasing cloud cover can moderate temperatures. Cloud cover increases as water vapor increases, and water vapor increases as CO2 increases.
    3) Climate alarmists’ warnings about “food insecurity” are conceptual nonsense. CO2 is fertilizer: The globe became GREENER as CO2 concentrations increased. Temperature changes around the globe mean some regions become better for agriculture while others become worse. Recent history suggests the combined effects ENHANCE food SECURITY: UN data show people are NOW better nourished AROUND THE GLOBE than they were in the 1970s. Nourishment has IMPROVED despite “catastrophic climate change” since the late 1970s and a DOUBLING (literally) of the world’s population.
