Essential Reference Book For Climate Change

Marc Morano’s new book is awesome, and includes a lot of my historical research.

  1. John of Cloverdale, WA, Australia says:

    The Times headline:
    Weather | analysis
    March 2 2018, 12:00am, The Times
“‘Beast from the East’ caused by freak Arctic heatwave” (pay-walled)
    Oliver Moody, Science Correspondent

I noticed there was another freak Arctic “heatwave” back in 1976.
1976 vs the “heatwave” of 2018.

  2. Already I want that book. Petr Beckmann’s “The Health Hazards of NOT Going Nuclear,” a similar attempt to keep electricity safe and legal, included this blurb review: “A vicious personal attack!”–Ralph Nader

  3. Freddy Boom-Boom says:

Is this the one you mentioned back in the Fall that you’ve been working on?

  4. arn says:

I would instantly buy it if also a penguin was standing at the front of the surfboard.
((and i hope he has a chapter called ” Science vs Science”
showing old ice age scare articles from the 70ies by
using articles of the same Mainstrean scientists
who later tried to sell AGW
and exposing&analysing the fear rhetorics that have been used
then and now and that they are almost the same.
And maybe some pictures of sea level “rise” by comparing old pictures beaches, harbours and buildings in the sea with current photographs)

  5. Andy DC says:

The NY Times had an long article about climate change this weekend and you could not read a sentence of it without encountering a blatant lie.

I know we have freedom of the press and all of that good stuff, but it is despicable and downright frightening to see a major newspaper knowingly and repeatably telling such lies. If they lie about climate, God knows what else they lie about!

    • gregole says:

“If they lie about climate, God knows what else they lie about!

Precisely why shortly after Climategate in 2009 I cancelled all subscriptions to magazines and stopped paying attention to the “news”. Innuendo, exaggeration, and blatant lies.
