“Scientists Agree”

On the 30th anniversary of James Hansen’s Congressional testimony, scientists agree he got it right.”

Judgment on Hansen’s ’88 climate testimony: ‘He was right’ » Yale Climate Connections

It would be a pretty massive stretch to describe climate fraudsters Mann, Rahmstorf and Dessler as being scientists, but let’s take a look at what Hansen actually said at those hearings.  He predicted a large increase in the number of 90 and 100 degree days at Washington DC and Omaha, Nebraska.

Below are the temperature records at the closest USHCN stations to Washington DC and Omaha, Nebraska.  Both show a decline in the number of 90 and 100 degree days.

Hansen was completely wrong, but in climate science being wrong is always right, and being right is always wrong.

These are not the only “fails” from such folks.
Whatever is in their heads now is a complete mystery.
Even Harold Camping, notable for issuing failed predictions for the End Times (Rapture), made more sense. Okay, maybe not.

One can not blame people for following Harold Camping
as long as other people use to call climate scientists scientists and follow them.

Campings numerolgical analasys of the bible were twice as accurate as the AGW climate models(2*0=0)
and he was not a parasite forcing people to pay his lifestyle via a mandatory tax.He fooled idiots to give him money on a voluntary basis.

You say increase, I say decrease, in the end it’s all down to the impeccable “crease” in a former presidential candidates trousers….

Surely someone with impeccable trouser creases can do no wrong ????

Any recent reports of constant flooding on the West Side Highway in NYC ??? That was an absolute certainty according to Homer Simpson.

I’m beginning to find it difficult to know what it is actually warmunists claim. Things are changing so fast.

    Arctic is fine. Ditto Antarctic.

Sea level rise? Yawn. Manhattan under water? What? Huh?

Storms. Or Stormy. Or whatever. It’s not happening as predicted.

    Nothing. Is. Happening.

  4. Former95B says:

Hansen was as wrong about the future as Obama was about the past…and the future.

    • arn says:

Well Hansen belonged to the group of people who switched from ice age of the 70ies to global warming in the 80ies
while Obama switched from Kenian in the 90ies to US american of the new century.

One may say both share common scientific ground
or that Obama copied the AGW-180-trick
or Michael Jackson-the black guy from the 80ies and white guy from the 90ies.
While in fact obama copied himself when the Barry Soetoro of the 70ies became the Barack Hussein Obama in the 80ies.

One would have an easier time arguing the veracity of the virgin birth with an Evangelical than to disagree with the prophecy of the oracle Hansen.

  7. RickS says:

    “Hansen was completely wrong” ?

Hansen got it “wrong” because [ HANSEN ] is a “complete” knee-jerking ASSHOLE…

    And so is/are the Cosmic Brain-Dead idiots who believe a Knee-Jerking-ASSHOLE !!!

I can’t think of a single department in the US gov’t that isn’t fully corrupt. Citizens would fare better if the gov’t just got rid of all the departments except the military.
