It is pouring here in North Phoenix, and we have had another inch of permanent drought so far out of this storm. In the last three months we have had more than our average annual rainfall.

I think it is time to face facts…we have reached the end of snow:
I have been in the Sierra when these big waves come in from the Pacific…it is unbelievable to see it come down in clumps and make your car disappear…over four feet of snow expected in some places:
A time to be very cautious if your going off-piste. Better know the mountain or route very well.
End of snow confirmed…for Florida.
We got 1/2 an inch in the SE valley. Hopefully we will continue to get what my limited experience – resident since 1990 – would call a normal Jan/Feb wet season. That 5+ inches last year was painful.
The best part is that the Rim is getting snow. Hope the temps stay low enough for a nice melt this spring.
