Twenty years ago, Tom Wigley predicted the US would warm 60-80% faster than the rest of the earth.

The US has been cooling for a century.
But no worries. Ten years later, Wigley came up with a creative solution to his failed prophesy – simply erase the warmth of the past.
Global warming is a bit like the Lake Wobegon Effect – – everything is above average.
How every place in the world can be warming twice as fast as the rest of the globe is one of life’s little mysteries.
That’s called positive feedback. It’s what the models use to make the temperature go up when it doesn’t.
US can’t be warming the fastest.
We’ve been told Canada is warming twice as fast!

I can ‘hardly’ wait to be as warm as Montana!!
Considering your winter temperatures, you could do with it. But Montana isn’t really all that warm.
ok….I was reading Tony’s posts sequentially….didn’t see his post about Canada before I posted my remarks….but still funny!
Tony – I have been monitoring (read: absorbing) your well-presented videos on “YouTube” for some time now. It is always great to listen to a voice of reason. It is pretty obvious to the casual observer that the climate is changing (as it has been doing for something like 4.5 billion years now) and will continue to change until Earth’s atmosphere boils away as The Sun expands to envelope the planet (oops, another theory!). But I, for one, refuse to jump from the predictions of the folks out there who seem to always tout “analyses” and “models” over “measured” data.
It’s definitely worse than we thought :
– Every where, the world is warming faster than every where else on the planet.
At this rate, AOC must be wrong : I wonder if we have actually 11,5 years left.
And this must be true since all the MSM says it :
