    Not surprised.
Remember that for them, the end justifies the means.

    • MGJ says:

Yes, it’s one feature of leftist philosophy that I think many people still fail to grasp: their absolutely ANYTHING goes, ruthless, the end ALWAYS justifies the means, no-holding-back, no quarter given approach. Lie, cheat, steal, threaten, murder…100 million corpses? What the hell, socialism will work out next time or the time after that.

  2. Petit_Barde says:

WWF : this criminal organization should be eradicated :

    Title Google translation :

WWF association accused of supporting forced sterilization programs near national parks in Africa and India.

Again, criminals in Australia causing bushfires :

Police seek help to investigate seven suspicious fires across NSW :

    etc.

  3. Gator says:

Why not? They have completely burned down the credibility of climate science, and have terrified children globally. Not exactly Barney the Dinosaur…

  4. rah says:

God save us from ignorant activists.
“The economist and social theorist Thomas Sowell once said that activism is “a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.”

  5. Disillusioned says:

I’m never going to contribute to the World Wrestling Federation again.

    Oh, wait….

  6. Fred Streeter says:

”Leo DiCaprio And WWF Paid For The Amazon Fires”

    Really?

    LDC donates money to WWF.
WWF pays for exclusive use of existing images of Amazon fires.

Therefore, WWF and LDC paid for the fires.
    Amazing, Holmes!

  7. Heretic Jones says:

The false flag is modus operandi for technocrats.

  8. G W Smith says:

DiCaprio is simply a major useful idiot.

  9. Andrea says:

And to think I bought Christmas cards from them…

DiCaprio comes across as a bit out to lunch. He accepted a Picasso from some shady businessman who’d bought it on the govt dime and was once cleaned out by a dodgy financial advisor.

  10. Tyrannosaurus Rex says:

Are these plants pyrophytic? That’s the only good reason to make fires.

  11. Rockhead says:

Michael Chricton’s book, State of Fear, was about “environmentalists,” who were creating “natural” disasters to justify action to fight global warming. He was a prophet.

  12. Deb says:

WEll Leo was def diddled as a kid by that perv manager. So, guess he joined the club…

  13. Joseph Peterson says:

Literally no evidence in that, just the police saying they arrested them with the damning proof… that they sold pictures.

    • GJ says:

Not only that, but police working for the state whose leader swore up and down that he would stop environmentalists, and the state which has in fact sold huge tracts of land to ranchers and govern them permission- or at least refused to prosecute them for- starting clearance fires in open land and previously unburnt/cleared triple canopy. Nothing to see here..

  14. Jay C says:

This has been shown to be false. The 4 arrested were released after ti was found by a judge there was zero evidence against them, and in stead evidence pointed to dubious local real estate interests:
    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/dec/05/brazil-ngos-crackdown-raids-amazon-fires

    • wadesworld says:

      First, I wouldn’t trust the Guardian…at all.

That said, while it would appear the case against them is sketchy, throwing out allegations of a “land grab” from “people reluctant to give their names” is equally sketchy. There’s zero mention of any credible evidence against these mystery land grabbers in the article.

One would think if the WWF did pay for photos, that could be traced. At this point though, it doesn’t appear to be possible to say who started the fires.

      • GJ says:

But you trust this advertisement/rag, and the govn’t whose leader swore he would stop environmentalists in Brazil when he was campaigning, and who arrests reporters, pro-democratic activists like it’s a sport? That’s a curious sense of credulousness you have engineered for yourself..
