By saying “Rise in temperatures and co2 follow each other closely in climate change”
they use a similar rhetoric trick as when they rebranded global warming
    into climate change
as this can mean anything and open the doors for all kind of cheap excuses.

In this case they create the impression that cause and effect are interchangable
instead of clearly definining wether rising temperatures are the reasons for rising co2 or rising co2 is the reason for rising temperatures,
considering how mad they are to convince people that co2 is the cause
of all evil this kind of language that is used here is very arbitrary.
This way they can claim to always be right(just as with the term climate change)
and keep up the illusion of co2 caused climate change as they know that for average joe both things look the same
while in fact rising temperatures that cause co2 increase would destroy the AGW narrative.

Excellent analysis of the data, Tony! I’m sending this to everyone. CO2 confusion is the core of this myth. Air pollution is a completely different matter. Keep it up!

  4. Petit_Barde says:

What is true at large timescales is also true at smaller timescales as shown by the T – CO2 concentration cross-correlation diagram (based on 40 years of Global Temps and CO2 concentration measurements) presented by Dr. Murry Salby :

    https://youtu.be/2ROw_cDKwc0?t=560

    This diagram shows that :
    – right part of the diagram : there is a positive correlation between temps variations and CO2 concentration with a lag of some 10 months,
    – left part of the diagram : there is no positive correlation between CO2 concentration variations and temps, and if anything, it is rather the opposite : a weak negative correlation appears with a lag of some 16 months.

Therefore, any theory that supports the assumption that CO2 concentration positively drives global temperatures in the atmosphere is directly contradicted by measured data (in fact, at any timescale) and thus, is wrong or incomplete and should be thrown away in the trash.

Those who continue to propagate such pseudo-theory are indeed charlatans, worse, they are “scientific” fraudsters.

    Hi Tony,
Interesting article, as are most your posts. Kind of takes the wind out of the AWG sails.
I’d like to discuss some related issues with you, but have been unable to find your contact info. Can’t say as I blame you considering all the climate trolls.
At your convenience, can you please respond to my email.
    Thanks
    Rick McFall

Please, what’s the URL of the graphic Antartic ice core data 1 that he’s using?. Thank you .
