Sea level hasn’t increased, but civilization is in a precipitous decline.

Someone told me just last night that parts of Newcastle, about 170 km north of Bondi can’t get home insurance because of the rapidly rising sea level. Now, the sea level is rising on the East coast of Australia, about 65 mm every century, and, I know people who live in those suburbs who have no problems with insurance. He won’t believe facts and data, so I doubt he’d believe his own eyes!

    I prefer the 2nd picture

It’s nice that you can look back 130 years, but the Farmzone website I go to to check long term temperature records has dropped displaying the daily historical record. Yet another casualty of the global warming war. Fortunately, I’ve recorded the Norfolk record as it has been displayed.

Just around the corner from Bondi Beach in the stilling pond of Sydney Harbour [but still directly connected to the broadest piece of ocean in the world] the first mean sea level recording by the Australian BoM was in May 1914, at 1.111 metres.

The last recorded MSL was in Sept 2019 and that was 0.962 metres, a FALL of 149 mm [6 inches] over 105 years:

When there’s no SLR in the Pacific, there ain’t no SLR.

Be a bit careful with that May 1914 reading,

There were only 10 good readings for that month, and it calculated as anomalously high for the years after it, mainly because the minimum level was quite high.

June had a lot more “good” readings, and had a mean of 9.71, still higher than September 2019. So your argument still holds.

The actual trend of the mean sea level is 1.05mm/year

Hugely SCARY, wouldn’t you say. ;-)

Craig Kelly is one of the few Australian politicians prepared to be honest about “climate change”. Senator Gerard Rennick is another.

There are some state members who are as well, but far far too many are “science deniers” and simply have no idea. Or if they do know they dare not say anything.

I live a few metres above sea level. And sleep well at night..

to my eye, things have definitely gotten hotter since 1909

  8. Oztruthseeker says:

Yes, no sea level rises and it’s December- Summer here in Australia- but we are still getting snowfalls in our alpine regions. And what are we being getting hit with on TV and some other media, Switzerland’s drastically shrinking glaciers and continued claims that the globe is still warming at an alarming rate. What the-?

  9. Taphonomic says:

John Daly (RIP) has pictures of a tidal mark in Tasmania from 1841.

  10. Peter says:

I think it is dangerous to claim that sea levels have not increased based on just four pictures. Some pictures could have been taken at high tide, others at low tide.

Pictures do show that there is no catastrophic sea level rise over the past 100 years.

This post just fits with many others over the years on SLR that Tony has posted.

    • spike55 says:

There is absolutely zero evidence of any acceleration of sea level rise.

There is absolutely zero evidence of any effect of increased atmospheric CO2 of sea levels.

      • Peter says:

True. I have yet to find any measurements that show an increase acceleration of sea level increase that would lead to a catastrophe. I tried to find in this database. None.

        • Disillusioned says:

Right. Yet, every time we listen to the news, we hear about new studies on how “Climate Change” will be impacting this, or that. Now the U.N. has announced that the planet is in a “Climate Emergency.”

What is catastrophic is that world leaders and their media puppets have brainwashed the public into believing this fictional, man-made creation.

It is the largest example of gaslighting I can think of – in spite of real-world evidence to the contrary, they have people everywhere believing there is an emergency.

    • Disillusioned says:

“Some pictures could have been taken at high tide, others at low tide.”

Well, what do you know? Peter trots out the same tired, reused excuse that has been retreaded over and over, for many years.

Pete, it ain’t just four photos. Posted on this thread and elsewhere, there are photos from all over the world that captured – and corroborate – what the tide gauges also captured – that all over the entire planet over the last century, there has been NO ACCELERATION in sea level rise.

What is dangerous is to keep one’s head stuck up one’s derriere.

For those who spend any time at this site, they will know the primary message of this posting is in the observation of the decline in humanity as shown in the colorful photo of an extinction rebellion orgy with the same backdrop of three other photos from the past that make it evident that life goes on at Bondi Beach. Visit the posting from the main block above”Accelerating Sea Level Fraud In Climate Science”. There is no significant change in the expected rate of natural sea level rise, thus “sea level has not increased”. If the message is lost, it is lost to those who don’t have a clue.
