Mitt Romney Saved Bangladesh From Drowning

“During his first 18 months as governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney spent considerable time hammering out a sweeping climate change plan to reduce the state’s greenhouse gas emissions.

As staff briefed him on possible measures and environmentalists pressed him to act, Romney frequently repeated a central thought, people at those meetings said: That climate change is occurring, that the United States has the resources to handle its vast impact but that low-lying poor countries like Bangladesh would suffer greatly.”

His policies must have worked.  Bangladesh is still there.

I don’t know why we talk so much about an A-hole that is at the end of his political career. Perhaps because he is the quintessential RINO?

There has never been a politician that came from the bowels of Massachusetts that any conservative should have any regard for after JFK.

I lived in that state for 5 1/2 years. Granted, I was a soldier stationed at Ft. Devens during that time. But I got out enough between deployments and training to get the gist of how truly screwed up the people of that state are in that time.

I remember taking a subscription to the Boston Globe. After three papers I canceled it. I just could not believe the crap I was reading in that paper.

I remember being part of the color guard to present the colors at a Boston Bruins hocky game on the ice of the old Boston Gardens. I was one of the guard with a ceremonial M-14. When we marched out there was some guy yelling “Who are dess guys”. Then after the game, taking the elevator down after watching the game from the match a woman with her young son was in the elevator with me. There I was in Army dress greens with the rifle slung and that woman clutched her boy to her like I was going to shoot them! The fear in her eyes was so obvious.

I remember going out to the local bars at night to party and the disdain the college girls would show when they found out I was a soldier. Half of them didn’t even know that there was an Army post in the area it seemed.

…And when an aggressive nation threatens the U.S., you know exactly which people those folks DEMAND throw themselves into harm’s way.

Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.

While Romney was governor, Bangladesh commissioned a 535 MW coal fired power plant.

  3. Mitt Romney is indeed a powerful climate wizard, capable even of moving our planet further away from the sun. That surely is the only way Earth’s temperature can be lowered. His Wizardry will prevent global warming thus achieving his target of cooling the planet to save Bangladesh. What a wonderful caring chap he is!
