“The US Supreme Court has issued a series of rulings that seriously upset the rule of law in America. Most notably, the court stripped women’s rights to abortion at the federal level. Other rulings on issues such as gun control and secularism have curtailed the country’s forward progress.
All of these are seriously damaging to US civil society. But another recent ruling by the Supreme Court on climate change will impact the world. On June 30, the court ruled that the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) does not have the authority to broadly limit carbon emissions for existing power plants. This is a major blow in the global fight against climate change and will challenge administrative power in the US in the future”
The US Supreme Court’s carbon emissions decision impacts the whole world
Besides being an expert in Constitutional Law, the author is also a highly trained musician.
The SCOTUS has not upset the rule of the original law – the law of and for the people.
The SCOTUS has only upset the the rule of the oligarchs who are calling their tyranny progressivism and who are trying to circumvent laws and replace them (as they replace culture)by perpetual repetition of mantras in the MSM and by pretending that their will is the will of people.
White privilege oozing from his pores. Somehow, he thinks all white kids have the same irresponsible lifestyle that he does. And what arn said.
Also, if his understanding of constitutional law matches his music aptitude, oops.
With credentials like that who can dare question when he repeats the mantra that the world is in a climate crisis?
In England a journalist with far more credentials,
Paul Mason, turned out to be working with the UK secret services to go after dissident academics and destroying their reputations for not going along with the narrative.
That is awful! It is dystopian.
I defer to his expert opinion….NOT
‘The US Supreme Court has issued a series of rulings that seriously upset the rule of law in America.’
The Supreme Court IS the rule of law.
‘Most notably, the court stripped women’s rights to abortion at the federal level.’
Which, most notably, should not have been given them in the first place. There is absolutely no basis at the federal level.
Blankenship attacks the wrong windmill. If he wants a federal right to abortion for women (and why not for men?), he should petition his representatives to amend the Constitution to create the right. It’s not the Court’s fault that Congress hasn’t done what he wanted.
‘Other rulings on issues such as gun control and secularism have curtailed the country’s forward progress.’
And we are rejoicing in MAGA land.
‘All of these are seriously damaging to US civil society.’
Huh?
‘But another recent ruling by the Supreme Court on climate change will impact the world. Again, he attacks the wrong windmill. Petition Congress to make the laws you want, dude. The Court just said that BFDs have to be created by Congress, not agencies. The Court says Obama’s, “I have a phone and a pen,” isn’t going to cut it.
Again, we are reminded, them Founding Fathers were geniuses.
Meanwhile Peter Doocy is the only person in the White House press pool that dares to practice actual journalism
