What is the source for graph 7.1c on page 202, which shows the Little Ice Age? I’ve heard climate “fact-checkers” say that this graphic is “sketched” based on temperature measurements from one tiny county in England. The discussion in the article would seem to disprove that.

The simple answer to your question, filled with pages of details, is to read Fagan’s book “The Little Ice Age”. While actual thermometer data may be in short supply, there are written accounts from all over Europe, and there are other proxies for actual temperature readings available, including evidence that it was worldwide. Those who make those claims about lack of information, are not very good scientists, if scientists at all. They are fanatics who no longer are capable of analyzing facts.
I bought his book. He was really on the ball. I was very sad to hear of his passing. However he reached a good age and was well respected. R.I.P. Jim.
Desmog is just a Canadian public relations firm. Last time I checked they had no climate scientists and only had journalism majors.

I don’t believe the Left have to remember what they said. They don’t seem to care if you catch them in lies and contradictions. If you call them out, they will ignore/censor/block/cancel/ridicule their detractors as they continue like a steamroller pushing the doomsday message du jour. Whether it contradicts something they said before, so be it. The strategy is simple – to drown you out as they flood the earth with their repeating message, details be damned (and inconsequential).
