Yes, but before they installed more solar panels in a year than the USA has in total, they built coal-fired power plants to make all those clean energy panels.
China brought more than 45 coal-fired power plants on line LAST YEAR, more coal power plants than the US built in the last FORTY YEARS.
Australian coal. Australia is the world’s largest thermal coal exporter ( mostly to Japan, China and India) yet they are hell bent on installing renewable energy at high cost to taxpayers and consumers.
Since that coal is going to be consumed and CO2 released anyway, why not use it at home and reduce the shipping GHG contribution?
I don’t drink their beers for fear there is something in the water.
