NASA and NOAA record temperatures are in defiance of satellite data, which shows cooling this century.
NOAA surface temperatures don’t agree with NOAA radiosonde temperatures, which show cooling since 1979.
And the most amazing part is that NOAA published surface temperatures don’t even agree with NOAA measured surface temperatures.
There is only one plausible explanation for this nonsense. Tom Karl was almost certainly told by the White House to produce a record temperature.

90 degree discrepancy, LOL Robertv you beat me to it!

Nice catch Robertv. If true, that’s a sure way to manipulate the anomaly.
Deadhorse is way up there.

So we now have 3 independent relable temperatures records UAH, RSS and radiosonde which are sharply diverged from NOAA Fraud. Expect MS to say radiosondes don’t measure temperature
The COOLING trend in UAH , RSS, radiosondes, over the USA, also matches USCRN and ClimDiv for the USA. (UAH actually has a slightly smaller COOLING trend, but still pretty close.)
This verifies the temperature data extraction routines of the satellite temperature series.
Karl and Gavin have no influence on these data sets.
It also shows that the raw temperature data does not need the massive amount of ‘adjustments’
I just hope congresspersons on the Committee ask the right questions to expose BS instead of being buried in scientific nonsense answers. RSS vs, land accuracy and deviation, unmeasured areas and proxies, adjustments based on thermometer high/low double readings going both ways, it is more they need a brief on what to ask than witnesses on panel. A bullet point list of Qs might be good if anyone wants to provide to Committee.
I’m saving Martin Smith the trouble of posting his rote comment: “You have no evidence of fruad, it just so happened that every error made over the last hunderd years, when corrected, warms the present and cools the past. It is just a coincidence that those corrections re-established the hockey stick that 98% of climate models had agreed upon in the past. It is impossible that 98% of the greatest climate scientists in the world could be wrong, thus the adjustments made by leading climate scuientists are totally valid and correct while the actual temperature data, read by hayseeds in Iowa, with less than perfect human eyes, are bunk.
I am reminded of the grieving mothers often seen on news reports of criminals caught in the act. Some young thug with a decades long criminal record will have been arrested in the midst of a murder and burglary, still with a weapon and blood on his clothes. When the mother is interviewed she invariably says, “But he is a good boy! He would never do anything like that!”
Yep. He is just a gentle giant, just a good boy who is being framed. You ain’t proved nuthin’!
If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck & quacks like a duck …
It’s FRAUD!
Perhaps Tony can give us his opinion of Ken Stewart’s work comparing satellite and ground temps? And UAH V 6 temp data over Australia showing a pause over the last 18 yrs 2 mths?

Thank you, Steven Goddard, for having the ability to see and the courage to confront those who hide reality from the public.

Michael Mann of the Future and his co worker Phil Jones of the Future will be working on Tom Wigley of the Future’s demand ‘We must get rid of the early 21st century blip!’ With any luck, as long as the hard drives hold up, they may know more about ‘… but why the blip’.
