It is amazing to me that random Americans, New York legislators in this case, think that Canada wants any of them, let alone a whole State.

The transition would be terrible. For one thing they would have to learn to speak English, for example, dropping all redundant direction from verbs. It is a “tennis match”, not a “matchup”.

Hollywood starlets? Go home. We’re full. The portable bubble you live in won’t fit through the turnstile.

The shit that takes itself out.

Probably the most progressive thing they ever came up with.

I wasborn upstate and if the City wants to go to Canada they are welcome to go. There is no way anything above West Point would want to go with tem

“I don’t care if they leave, as long as they pay their taxes.” — Abe Lincoln, 1860

Hey, New York, y’all can’t go til you pay your $1.8 TRILLION of the national debt.

It seems like everyone agrees, They should do want they want. I only suggest that they hold a county by county vote, and the counties that want to go; leave, and those that want to stay are allowed to stay. Once they decide to go, NY is no longer the entity that it was when it was part of the US. We may lose the financial center of the US, but it will build back in Houston. The pluses are: The UN disappears from US soil, Long as we run good government the conservatives rule in the US for decades, and we get to watch the spectacle of Canada bankrupting NYC (because that is all that will leave) to support their progressive agenda.
    Sounds like a win-win.
