  1. Stark Dickflüssig says:

No, wait, we mean 2030. Or 2050.

    Oh, whoopsie! We mean 2100.

Err, that is to say, sometime before 3000.

    & so on.

  2. GregW says:

The article goes on to say the oceans will rise anywhere from a minimum of 10 inches (resulting in the 83 foot inland surge) to a maximum of 24 inches by 2020.

I doubt if the seas have risen more than 2 inches since 1988 so at that rate it would be at least 2100 before there was a 10 inch rise, and at least 2250 befores a 24 inch rise. All that ice is going to have to virtually dissolve on the spot to fulfill those predictions.

Yet the people who make these off the wall predictions are still in charge of finding ways to alter the world’s climate. Is this chutzpah, hubris or maybe some weird combination of the two?

  3. Andy WeissDC says:

We were all doomed a long time ago.

  4. Sparks says:

Maybe if we all throw buckets of cash at these people we might some how avoid this future catastrophe.

    Hmmm, wait a minute … D’oh!!

  5. Charles Higley says:

Let’s see, nine years from now we should be in another extended nothing period between two nothing solar cycles. That should really warm things up!

With three different indicators all showing that solar activity is to be low for about 30-50 years, these guys are really flying in the face of reality.

They must really be into the AGW Kool Aid! Time for new funding!!!??
