I forecast a large drop in the UAH channel 5 anomaly this month, down to 0.35. This is based on daily temperatures for the first half of the month.

You may be right about that. October seems to be the month with the least variance in the UAH record (or at least it looks like that if I plot mean, record highs and record lows).

You’ve got it all wrong. Forecasts of this nature are supposed to be set for at least a generation in the future, when the forecast itself will have been long forgotten or a large number of your readers will have died. And don’t forget the importance of the use of weasel words and phrases … it is possible, it might happen, unforeseen influences could come into play, blah, blah, blah …

    I agree.
Temperatures are dropping like a brick.
A High pressure area West North West over Europe is sending in cold air from the North. I am really curious how deep this La Ninja will bottom out.
There is not much warmth left on the NH.

    The SH is cold too:
Snow in Victoria and temperatures 15 degree below normal in Tasmania.
