She didn’t want a carbon tax and said as much before the election. Then in order to do a deal with the greens party she did an about face and lied to her electorate. There is nothing brave about doing a back flip in order to form government. It’s actually the definition of cowardly.

That makes sense. It’s impossible to get enough data, manipulate public mind with imaginary crises, and scare them to vote your way when the election campaign is only 4 weeks long. (Excluding the 911 and Tampa incidents). Announcing an 8 month campaign and the socialist idea of fixed terms allows people like Joel Benenson time to sell their data mining services.
