Why We Need Sequestration

The rules of the game need to change. Ever since 9/11/2001 we have been bullied by the White House into permanent war, spending insane amounts of money and giving up our freedoms one by one – through Ponzi schemes of fear.

Obama has ramped this up to the point where he has a new emergency every week which demands another trillion dollars, another executive order, and another Bill of Rights amendment to be sacrificed.

Boehner has the opportunity to force the rules to change, and finally start a serious dialogue – where the American people make the rules, not the White House. If he chickens out again, Obama will know that he can do whatever he wants.

If Boehner holds the line, he will force Obama to either get immediately serious about spending, or take the blame. He will show the American people that there is hope, and he will win back some respect. He will force the media to quit worshiping Obama.

The Democrats used the same war of fear against Reagan when he fired the air traffic controllers, which turned out to be one of the best things he did as President.

All we needed to prevent 9/11 – was to have not taken away the right of pilots to carry guns. Gun free zones allowed 19 people with box cutters to generate endless havoc.

Boehner is a feckless pol, period. Obama continues to blame what he views as the right “creating a new emergency every week,” and Boehner lets him, while it’s the Alinskyite in the WH doing exactly what he blames others for. Most of those posing as men, but without a “set,” better find a way to grow a pair–and quickly.

    I’ve started running a sweepstake.

Odds on Obama issuing all EO’s to do whatever he wants: 1.02 to 1
Odds on Boehner standing up to White House takeover: 75 to 1
Odds on the MSM not worshiping Obama: 250 to 1
Odds on USA retaining a functioning democracy by 2020: 500 to 1

Where goes the USA, so goes the Western World.

  3. It would be useful if the executive branch of government had more power in some circumstances, particularly to push back against vested interests. It’s a problem though if (a) you intend to use that additional power to further entrench your side’s vested interests and (b) as a president you’re actually a nitwit.

Our illustriuous leader has been telling us that if sequestration occurs it will mean the loss of jobs in in areas we can’t afford to lose jobs. BS!!!. If Obama lays off teachers, firemen and policemen, it will be because he chooses to lay off these people. He could easily tell his czars/managers to cut their own budgets by the amount of the sequestration and they would do it without losing one job. That’s how fat their budgets are. Obama is the most classless person to hold our highest office since Clinton, err Carter, err FDR; WTF, there sure are a lot of them.

Your comparison to the Air Traffic Controllers is a very good one. I doubt Boehner has the balls, but if he did, people would find that the sun still rises on March 2nd.

  7. dmmcmah says:

I agree. But the Repubs are going to cave. In fact they are willing to toss out budget procedures outlined in the Constitution. Beware – if this is done once it will become the new normal. Any Repub that supports this needs to be voted out of office.
