“We could see a six-foot seas level rise by the end of the century,” said Mann

That could happen. And he could suddenly turn into an honest person. And more likely monkeys could fly out his a$$.
h/t to Marc Morano
I’m reminded of the Bill Cosby skit where Noah talks to God.
In the updated version, it’s a conference call, with Mann and Hansen arguing with God how high the seas will rise, and trying to convince him it’s all man’s fault.
Any moron could make any prediction about something that “could” happen well after they’re dead. If they were serious about their predictions, they’d be putting their money where their mouth is and coming up with (for example) a decade-by-decade prediction (since most claim the rise won’t be linear). The fact they don’t shows how absolutely clueless and cowardly they are.
I wonder if these guys & gals ever accept or consider humility?
Mann Made Sea Level Rise
And we just had crazy Hansen saying there would be 8 meters of sea level rise. Surprisingly I guess it’s Mann’s job this time to play the “sane” Chicken Little, to walk nutcase Hansen back. But my God over the last 50 years there’s been ZERO sea level rise. Because I, and bunches of others from all over the world, know it. We’ve been there, seen the ocean decades ago, and been back to the same spot(s), and it’s the same now as it was then. Not an iota of change, so that leads me to question the “data” indicating a few inches of rise over the past 50 years when there’s been nothing, nada. Despite supposed melting glaciers everywhere and melting polar ice caps, there’s been no rise over the last 50 year, and there will be essentially no rise over the next 50 years. Why don’t the shameless fear mongers put a plug in it.
“Entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.” -Noel Brown, ex UNEP Director, 1989
All these guys are throwing out different numbers regarding sea level rise, temperature rise, and on and on. Somehow they never get mad at each other when they contradict each other, but let a “skeptic” contradict them and there’s hell to pay. In the end, Nature will do whatever Nature is going to do, and these guys be damned.
I’m betting on the monkeys
“We are literally 30 years ahead of where the models say we should be,” when it comes to Arctic Sea ice melting, Mann said.”
I’m trying to back up, and take all this in, but I keep stepping in holes where the goalposts used to be. They’re f’ing everywhere!
