Gladys Zimmerman writes, “April 11, 2012 will be forever remembered by the Zimmerman family as the day the justice system failed us as Americans, and as a consequence an innocent man was arrested for a crime he did not commit, solely to placate the masses.”
She writes that a “false narrative” of the case has been widely publicized based on the “little evidence” made available to the public.
“It is astounding that despite the vast amount of information and evidence now available that support George’s self-defense claim, the majority of the media avoids its publication,” Gladys Zimmerman writes.
She said the media, along with social media, has “made it their prerogative” to judge and sentence her son ever since the case was made public.
Gladys ended the letter by thanking supporters and promising that her son’s trial will not disappoint.
“The truth will finally be revealed to many, but to some who have always seen through the narrative – the truth George always told will [not] be ‘revealed,’ but rather ‘confirmed,'” she wrote.

Sadly, there will be a large number of people who will still believe it was a a cover up, because the media framed the story as a hate crime from day one.

I think Phil had it right the first time as he acts like a White Socialist or a middle east Islam, more white than BLACK! For politics he tries to play the black card, he does a bad job of that.
What NBC “news” did to Zimmerman was obscene and disgusting – but it fit the “narrative” so they went ahead and did it. They made Pravda look like a real news organization.

The funny part is – she is not (nor is George). Both are democrats. But I guess there just are not enough conservatives to go around for all the liberal hate.
Justice is blind, so they say, or the irony speaks louder than words. maybe! Take your pick.
This has parallels in the McMartin pre-school travesty of justice a few decades ago. Several people were held in prison for years without a trial. In fact, the press-fueled stories had zero truth to them. The media reported thew McMartin counselors’ interrogation of the very young children as if everything was true. But it turned out that nothing was true. The children were led into their fantastic stories by the same counselors — whom no one in the press disputed.
I would not like to be in George Zimmerman’s shoes. The judge has already made it clear that he is totally hostile, and the prosecutor jumped on the “murder” bandwagon/rabble-rousing from Day One. And of course, Obama himself jumped in to fan the flames of racial hatred and tribalism on nationwide TV.
We rely on a free press to investigate all the facts. But the press has become the Administration’s official narrative-repeating lap dog. They have zero interest in being impartial, or in presenting all the facts. They practically stood up and chered when the witnesses recanted their original accounts of what happened. And the judge charged Zimmerman’s wife with perjury — while never saying a word about the witnesses’ sworn statements that were subsequently changed.
I think George Zimmerman is facing an official lynch mob.
The Insane Left in the USA is a lot like North Korea, thinking themselves victims of injustice, but in reality they are the out-of-control aggressors. Obama’s rise to power is only showing how broken America is (that such a bloody fool could be RE-elected, should tell us volumes about the competency of our society). The persecutors of George Zimmerman think themselves the irresistible force, but they forget that truth is the immovable object–so they only provoke the shattering of society, by hurling themselves against the plain truth.
