Experts say rapidly melting glaciers are raising the UK flood risk – ITV News
That glacier looks frozen solid, and there has been no change in sea level rise rates.
In fact, Obama says that he is absolutely certain that sea level rise slowed the moment he got nominated.
When exactly did morons take over the planet?
The Glaciers in Norway. Yeah there’s all this blubbering and crying by the Alarmist warmists that they’re receding.
Well it looks like in ancient times some those Glaciers weren’t there or smaller than present day.
Pre-Viking tunic found on glacier as warming trend aids archaeology
The greenish-brown, loose-fitting outer clothing — suitable for a person up to about 5 feet, 9 inches tall (176 centimeters) — was found 6,560 feet (2,000 meters) above sea level on what may have been a Roman-era trade route in south Norway. Carbon dating showed it was made around the year 300.

Steve, you could have fun from this section of a NOAA page. No long term trend in sea level changes; The Battery has seen steady sea level rise, but Sitka steady falling sea levels. Do you suppose subsidence and post-glacial isostatic adjustment is a factor? 🙂

If you’re sitting south of Hawaii looking north, the pacific plate is slowly rotating toward the left. The force & pressure relief is realized against the north American plate along the west coast up to the Alaskan pan-handle right around to the Japanese coast with plate spreading realized below Japan through the Marianna islands/trench. The northern most point has near equal opposing force and the Wrangell and Alaskan ranges show us the results.
The isostatic adjustment probably contributes a great deal, since the land weight losses are newer than anywhere else on the planet (3100 – 995 years).
