The climate crisis is far more destructive than coronavirus, the prime minister Boris Johnson has warned. Speaking at the opening of a key climate summit, Mr Johnson reaffirmed his commitments to bring about a “10-point plan for a green industrial revolution” and to slash the UK’s emissions by 68 per cent by 2030. The prime minister also called for the world to harness “scientific advances to protect our entire planet against a challenge far more destructive even than coronavirus”. He said: “Together, we can reduce our emissions. We can radically cut our dependence on fossil fuels. We can change our agricultural practices. “In short, we can reverse the process by which, for centuries, humanity has been quilting our planet in a toxic tea cosy of greenhouse gases.”

What follows is the data from Lungi, Sierra Leone.

GHCN V3 Unadjusted data shows the station had a cooling trend of about -0.9C from 1880 to 1996, while V4 Unadjusted data shows a cooling trend of -0.7C.
Looking at the same period with the GHCN V4 adj – homogenized data, the station shows a cooling trend of -0.3C.

For some strange reason, the V3 Unadjusted data has data on the mean annual temperatures up to 1996, but the V4 data has data up to 2018.
GHCN V4 Unadjusted data shows the station had an upward trend of less than 0.1C from 1880 to 2018, while V4 Unadjusted data shows a warming trend of about 1C.

Climate alarmists use the word “science” to describe such a major data change.

Today, I checked the mean annual temperatures in Corsicana, Texas which begins in 1880, according to NASA.

The GHCN V4 Unadjusted data shows that the city has had a cooling trend since 1880.

However, the GHCN V4 adj – homogenized data shows the station doesn’t have any annual temperature data from 1880 to 1948, and has had an obvious warming trend.

Looking at the GHCN V3 Unadjusted data, Corsicana has had a cooling trend, but the station didn’t have annual temperature data from 1880 to 1892.

At first I was wondering how did NASA get the data before 1893, but I know that NASA just loves changing their data.

Furthermore climate alarmists really love to believe the man-made global warming myth and ignoring the actual data.

As heavy snow falls in the UK, the Met Office announces the end of snow by the end of the century.
