No Visible Sign Of Change Yet – But Ecosystem Collapse Is Imminent

“In Tennessee, everything is pretty subtle,” she said, adding that research has not been plentiful when it comes to agriculture and climate change here.

If small changes are occurring under the radar, a trigger point could be reached suddenly where ecosystems as a whole could fail, unable to make changes quickly enough to keep up, she said.

“..the temperature has made a slight move upward, particularly since 1970”

But mostly downward for the last 12 years, and an almost flat trend for the last 20.

  2. Latitude says:

So nothing has changed, they need more scientific research to find the change, because even though they don’t see anything different…
    …they are sure it’s there

  3. Squidly says:

Well, I live here in Uncle Al’s backyard, and I can tell you, the ecosystem is thriving as ever. There are even problems with too many wild bore, deer and other such critters.

Nothing to see here .. move along ..

(sheesh, can’t believe the Tennessean actually published this rubbish)

  4. Mike Davis says:

It must be something the City Folk in Nashville see because here in East Tennessee the folk say that weather is doing about what it has done since their grand parents days: CHANGE!

The cultists are pulling out all stops to spread their disease.

I recall reading in the 1970s how the “Moonies” would seek new recruits. Looking at Jonestown and Heaven’s Gate, you see similar behavior. Converts were often well heeled, looking for something meaningful in their lives. They were promised a new deeper relationship with others. You see this same tactic with all collectivist groups. Many progressives even brag about it. The new recruits gravitated to the organization because it gave their lives meaning. They felt they were doing something important. That’s exactly what you see in eco-nuts. They think they’re saving a planet that doesn’t need saving.

It’s impossible to reason with them as long as they are surrounded by other cultists because they continuously confirm the delusion among their peers.

The confirmation process has to be stopped and you can deprogram them with immersion in rational discussion. We saw a little of this happening with Phil Jones when he was found out and began to think with some amount of reason thru the issues – as when he admitted the MWP may well have been warmer. But then he was given confirmation of the delusion from establishment, and fell right back in.
