Active Rock Naming Season Continues

I plan to name a new rock today – Emily. Climate change has made nameable rocks appear much more frequently than in the early days of pet rocks.

    lol, very nice!! But to tell you the truth, I’m becoming very alarmed at the increase of named rocks. This is unprecedented!! Its weird!!! Things are changing too fast for us to adapt to!!

  2. Truly frightening business. It’s most certainly evidence that humans are causing unprecedented global stratum change that we can name more rocks now than in 1873.

    Right now I’m keeping an eye on the Bamms. They will be the most accurate until circulation gets a little higher up. After that, the GFDL is my go to………….then all bets are off.
    This one will actually be something to watch………..

    Introduced my brother to your site while on vacation in cold BC and showed him a post about your rock naming…had a great laugh!!
    We have a big rock on one of the roads i cycle, I think we need to give it a name too!
