These decreases in snowpack and in the length of the snow season can directly impact activities like skiing and snowmobiling, which are key aspects of outdoor winter recreation.”
“It is up to us to face this challenge squarely and to act immediately to avert the worst effects of global warming,” Boxer concluded.

By the way, the nonsense about the “short ski seasons” is a key element of California’s filing in support of the EPS “endangerment” finding.
