“Global warming can have a profound and negative impact on our outdoor recreation opportunities and businesses,” said Sen. Barbara Boxer (D, Calif.). “We are already seeing decreases in the amount of snowpack in certain western areas of the United States. These decreases in snowpack and in the length of the snow season can directly impact activities like skiing and snowmobiling, which are key aspects of outdoor winter recreation.”
“It is up to us to face this challenge squarely and to act immediately to avert the worst effects of global warming,” Boxer concluded.
Disrupting the Borg is expensive and time consuming!

Snowbird Ski in Utah has record long season, and 4th of July skiing……”This is unbelievable”.
Also broke record for snow amount “by nearly 100 inches”, still “about 12 feet deep”

Even liberals think Barbara Boxer is an idiot.
Not this year, Barbara. Your long range weather forecasting skills need considerable improvement.
Somewhere there is a Congressional video with Boxer making an arse of herself (itself?) speaking on ski resorts about 3-4 years ago. I couldn’t find it, rats. This one is still pretty good.

Boxer shouldn’t be talking about short anything.
Dwarf little troll beyotch.
Does anyone know whether some journalist in California has reminded her of her fearless forecast. By the way, the nonsense about the “short ski seasons” is a key element of California’s filing in support of the EPS “endangerment” finding. Can we bring it to the attention of the U.S. Supreme Court. Here is to hoping and praying that Justice Kennedy or one of his clerks visits your blog.
By the way, NBC Evening News showed video of .people skiing in Lake Tahoe yesterday (July 4 Of course, they did not mention that skiing in July was inconsistent with their global warming alarmism.
