Which is exactly why the Maldives is building a new airport right next to the water. They want guilt money from brain-damaged westerners who actually believe the sea level rise BS.
Yeah, but just because a bunch of people who claimed to believe it (enough so that their government actually sued another country for potential future damages from sea-level rise) actually put their money on a different outcome doesn’t mean they don’t believe it.
This is how chess is played: first you “bluff”, then you kick the board over and claim that you lost the results, & finally you claim, “The guy who jumped my king was cheating. See, he bought gas from BP in 2002. Oil Money!”
