“The roaming spirit of Brother Buffalo came to me in a dream and said, ‘White Man has ploughed up the sweet grasses, White Man has fenced off all the free plains, & White Man has killed with reckless abandon. Also, all cartons of cigarettes should be 40% off of retail price for the month of July.'”
LOL! Thanks for the laugh!
Before the white man raped the land and polluted the air, Native Americans lived in perfect harmony with nature in the verdant New Mexico wilderness. There were never any droughts or fires.
Of course, there is no way to know if there were fires, because Native Americans never kept records of anything.
That is a crock because there is NO Harmony in nature! Nature is doing its best to destroy all the things man attempts to create. Nature does every thing it can to wipe out all living creatures. All of man’s advances is due to trying to adapt to natural extremes! Fire is the end of one type of life but the beginning of another. ( The legend of the Phoenix is about rebirth after fire.
I happened over to Climate Progress, and this was like the second comment that I read.
“Sailesh Rao · Executive Director at Climate Healers
Unfortunately, the Heartland Institute is not an exception. Our entire industrial, human enterprise is built on death and destruction…”
I wonder if Ill Wind is going to own up to that off the deep end naked anti-capitalist comment… probably not.
Steve, O/T but FYI – From http://bishophill.squarespace.com/blog/2011/7/1/the-haunting-2.html#comments
“Whilst HtL has been away, Steven Goddard has been haunting the Google version of newspaper archive microfiche stacks, with counterexamples to every ‘unprecedented’ claim ever made by the climate alarm industry. Well worth a browse. Goddard’s USP is total, withering contempt for all climate alarmists. Suits me fine. However, lukewarmers, still trying to salvage a fragment of science from the cesspit, may find his style too bracing for their taste.

Sweet. Congratulations, Steve.
That photo’s been photoshopped – very badly! It’s probably just a sunrise picture.
