Nuclear Catastrophe Averted!

Last week our global warming friends were hysterical that Plutonium would catch fire in Los Alamos and destroy all life on earth. The summer monsoons have come and now the worry is flooding.

Afternoon thunderstorms can provide hazards from erratic winds and lightning. Currently, there is a flash flood watch for the Jemez Mountains through Monday evening.

    I read that Lightening strikes are causing fires at the Nevada Test Site where the above ground tests were done. It wold have been a wet spring for there to be any fuel for a fire at the test site.
