Steve, isn’t this your old blog? I’m confused…..or my links are all messed up
Lat:
This is the old site!
Your links are probably messed up, but that is a personal problem! It would be way OT to discuss that here! 😉
Real-Science got very quiet.
I thought you must be riding your bike.
I see you are over here.
Looks to me like the average ice concentration today is slightly higher than in 1989.
The Average Temperature above 80 north is still well below freezing at about -19c.
http://ocean.dmi.dk/arctic/meant80n.uk.php
that’s a minus 19c in case you missed the – .
A great temperature for MELTING Ice! 😉
At this rate it will all be melted some time in the next 100K years.
Some place in Siberia is -14 F (what is that, about -25 C?) and they are only 63 north.
Why are my comments waiting endlessly in moderation? I’ve never said anything inflammatory or derrogatory on this website.
Those poor polar bears.
Is this the summer the arctic will go ice free ? I’m looking for a better place to park my boat so that it is out of harms way during hurricane season.
The Great Salt Lake has very few hurricanes. China Lake in California also has a history of few hurricanes. 😉
