Interesting post by Chiefio on his blog

    It bears reading and publicity

    • NikFromNYC says:

He describes me well: “Aspes are very much full of empathy. (Often more to animals than to other people, but that’s mostly because other people lie and hide who they really are so much. We get mixed readings as we see through that to the person inside in addition to the ‘top story’ and that can be confusing.”

…but doesn’t mention that such “confusion” can also be highly seductive to women and thus extremely functional. Hell, women even get hot for convicted psycho killers, not just emo guys. Anything that stands out without leading to depression has an attractive handicap effect.

Peaceful Swedes enjoying the fruits of social media…

“Swedish high school students outraged over sexual rumours circulating on Instagram about girls in the Gothenburg area barricaded a school in protest and turned violent when police intervened.”

“We are the World, We are the Children…”

These guys probably hope Obama wins a third term, and it makes you wonder just for whom they voted… 😉

“Since President Barack Obama took the oath of office on January 20, 2009, the share price of firearms manufacturer Sturm, Ruger & Company has increased more than 700 percent.”

On a related note, it appears Discovery Channel’s “American Guns” may be a casualty of Sandy Hook as well.

Thomas Sowell has a good write up.

“There is innocent ignorance and there is invincible, dogmatic and self-righteous ignorance. Every tragic mass shooting seems to bring out examples of both among gun control advocates.”

  5. Bill S says:

Can we keep the message simple?
How about if a few hundred thousand of us sent an email to the white house saying
“Mr. President. I believe my local grade school is safer because I am armed and can respond sooner than the police. Signed Citizen.”

  6. Adam Gallon says:

    Headline’s wrong.
Armed Law Enforcement Officer Prevents Movie Theater Massacre.
And she fired four times & only wounded the bloke? A trained, professional, now imagine what a bunch of untrained people, all blasting away would do.

  7. Robertv says:

    The marketing of madness

While liberal idiots focus on metal and plastic implements–aided and abetted by liberal idiot “journalists”–the true cause of killing sprees may be right under their ignorant and dishonest noses.

  8. Andy says:

    This is interesting.

Preumably Australia has similar level of kids on mind altering drugs as the USA but removing the guns has reduced the spree killings.
