How To Get An Organism To Commit Suicide

How do you get an organism to destroy itself?

Simple – convince it that something essential for its survival is making it sick. A great example of this is bulimia. If an individual believes that food is unhealthy, it eventually will self-destruct and die.

As far as I can tell, that is the fundamental purpose of the global warming movement. Civilization can not exist without an adequate energy supply, and greens are determined to  make that impossible. They are determined to introduce a fatal imaginary paradox – which will lead western civilization to self-destruct.

And I suspect nothing would give them greater pleasure.

    • Until they realize that they are parasites which are completely dependent on the organism.

    • In neosocialism there is a paradox. Corporations, etc., are evil, however, through carbon taxes and so forth, they are meant to also rescue civilisation. It is the evil corporations (or ‘private enterprise’) that will somehow mysteriously invent the new technology that will bring on the ‘sustainable future.’ I suppose these individuals imagine this can be done in the same way Apple launches a new iPhone.

In their mindset of course, Corporations are really a sort of greedy Father Xmas. Both the giver of gifts but also withholder of toys they want but don’t want to work for.

Yeah that’s too funny like Suzuki and the lot last year pointing out that Santa was gonna drown to the kids, if the kids knew what these people were up to the kids wouldn’t have a Christmas because of the carbon foot print of Christmas. 😆

Will … I thought you might like this essay by Dr. David Deming entitled, “The Noble Savage”:

        Here is an excerpt:

“Human beings have not, can not, and never will live in harmony with nature. Our prosperity and health depend on technology driven by energy. We exercise our intelligence to command nature, and were admonished by Francis Bacon to exercise our dominion with “sound reason and true religion.” When we are told that our primary energy source, oil, is “making us sick,” or that we are “addicted” to oil, these are only the latest examples of otherwise rational persons descending into gibberish after swooning to the lure of the Noble Savage. This ignorant exultation of the primitive can only lead us back to the Stone Age.”

That’s like being addicted to vitamines and food and water. 😆

Exactly, Me! By the way, here is another essay by David Deming, which is the one I was originally searching for when I found “The Noble Savage”:

      • @LLAP,

I can’t agree with Demmings article. He writes, for example:

“Before Jesus Christ lived, the Noble Savage was known to the Hebrews as the Garden of Eden.”

This is too silly. The ancients had no concepts parallel to the ecological dogmas of today. Wilderness was *not* desirable. Wilderness encompassed dangerous, barren or desolate places. There were no Noble Savages or admiration of them. Gardens were civilised places, altered from ‘nature’, equivalent in a sense, to our modern technological culture. The idea of the virtues of primitivism did not really take off until at least the time of Rousseau.

Maybe there is an addiction to religeon, there is enough history of it to say so!

      • Me says:

But that goes back to the power one controls.

      • @Me, well you have excellent taste in music.

      • Me says:

😆 Flattery will get you nowhere thar Will.

Isn’t that a greenie’s vision of life? Disaster is around every corner.

Bulimia isn’t a dx based on a belief that food is unhealthy.

  4. Andy OZ says:

If the Georgia guidestones have any legitimacy, then the human species may indeed be undergoing a gradual modification of the collective beliefs, by whom I don’t know but you can pick any theory you like. However, if you wanted to reduce the global population to 500 million though, then convincing the majority, that the human species is killing the planet (AGW belief), will begin the genesis of numerous self developed methods that will result in self destruction of the species. Those methods might include destroying the financial system and the villification and banishment of certain technologies (carbon derived energy) and alternative beliefs. It might also include conditioning the population to be completely dependent on the system (government and the monopoly corporations), and banning their self sustaining activities (backyard gardens, fishing, hunting, etc), then shutting down the system and leaving the bulk of the population without sustenance or the ability to gain sustenance.

Take away most peoples money through inflation as well as ever increasing and multiplying carbon taxes, and you are on your way to leaving them entirely dependent of the government (47 million US people on food stamps!). Bring in laws to make sure they can’t burn wood when they are freezing. Take away their means to sustain themselves, especially by draconian regulation and you’ve boxed them in. The best way to succeed with these aims is to convince the people that they must do it or else the planet will be destroyed. Thus it is a self inflicted self destruction.

Is this the plan? Don’t know, but the co-incidences are becoming very compelling, much more so than panicking over some melting glaciers and a dodgy temperature record.

Are there no true leaders on the left? Can they not set the example, and make the personal sacrifice? Are we allowed to “nudge” them? 😉

I misfiled a collection of the enviromental nuts statements of wishing for massive human death and destruction. Ted Turner, Prince Phillip, etc, does anyone have such a collection?
