Lincoln, VA is the closest GHCN/USHCN station in Virginia to Washington DC, and November was the coldest on record there.

I live roughly half way between Lincoln and DC, and the Lincoln version of the November temperature story sure seems more accurate to me.
That chart plainly shows that we are undergoing catastrophic warming and that we are all DOOOMED! (sarc).
