  1. That no-good half-white son of a bitch keeps his big ol’ White House at 80° & drives 15-20 SUVs everywhere he goes. He’s a model for us all.

    • Marian says:

      Yeah.

He better be pointing his finger at all those AGW/CC believing elite hedonists he sucks upto and supports him. They are also the biggest CO2 footprint consumers. From Al Gore, to George Soros, to all those Hollywood Obama sucking celebrities

  2. Sundance says:

Jews were portrayed by the “Green Wing” of the Nazi Party as being a threat to nature and the environment.

    ‘Fascist Ecology:
The “Green Wing” of the Nazi Party and its Historical Antecedents’

“Another philosopher and stern critic of Enlightenment who helped bridge fascism and environmentalism was Martin Heidegger. A much more renowned thinker than Klages, Heidegger preached “authentic Being” and harshly criticized modern technology, and is therefore often celebrated as a precursor of ecological thinking. On the basis of his critique of technology and rejection of humanism, contemporary deep ecologists have elevated Heidegger to their pantheon of eco-heroes:

Heidegger’s critique of anthropocentric humanism, his call for humanity to learn to “let things be,” his notion that humanity is involved in a “play” or “dance” with earth, sky, and gods, his meditation on the possibility of an authentic mode of “dwelling” on the earth, his complaint that industrial technology is laying waste to the earth, his emphasis on the importance of local place and “homeland,” his claim that humanity should guard and preserve things, instead of dominating them — all these aspects of Heidegger’s thought help to support the claim that he is a major deep ecological theorist. 22″

    Sound familiar? 🙂

  3. Sundance says:

Chip Knappenberger has a great analysis of how a carbon tax in the USA would only lead to an insignificant 6.4% reduction of warming through the 21st century.

“…about 0.08°C of the low end estimate and about 0.35°C of the high end estimate (according to an IPCC-like analysis*). Using the IPCC’s mid-range scenario, carbon dioxide emissions from the U.S. contribute about 0.19°C of the total 2.96°C global temperature rise.”

His article should be mandatory reading for moderates and conservatives as it provides the ammunition to disarm the “Green Wing” of the Dem party who are pushing for a carbon tax.

    • Justa Joe says:

The global warming thing never was sufficiently alarming. They’ve now moved on to extreme weather. Extreme weather is inherently more visceral, which is what the climate con is after.

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK“ – BHO

As Christopher Horner quipped. “I don’t rememebr ever asking them.”

  5. So let’s help other countries keep their homes at 72 degrees (really? Mine’s at 70–excuse me while I turn up the thermostat!), eat as much as they want and drive SUVs. Problem solved!

  6. Dave N says:

How’s that working out for China, Obama? Does he really take US citizens for complete morons? I guess some of them are alarmist scientists..

Not sure what to make of this? 😆 But European authorities are involved over mislabelled of merchandise and its origin, and it’s about biodiesel being moved around.

  8. LLAP says:

It seems many in Britain are unable to adjust their thermostat – they are simply turning it off as they cannot afford it:
