Dorner’s claim that he can clear his name by killing other people’s children doesn’t make any sense. Most of his manifesto is fairly coherent, but the fundamental thesis is complete bullshit. Nobody would believe that.
There is something much bigger going on here. Someone is setting up a scenario which is so heinous that any illegal activity by the feds will be considered justified. Dorner just left the military this week.
It’s called a “false flag” operation.
It’s called a nut on the loose. The Unabomber manifesto made a lot of sense too, in places.
It is a reality TV show for ABC!
Steven,
pull back and assess.
This is only one guy, frozen in the mountains.
You should pass that information on to the authorities, so that 50 police families in LA can come out of hiding. They will be so relieved.
He was trained to think and track people just like him. As long as the Authorities continue to use their playbook, they will never catch him. He is not freezing. He is very much alive and not well (mentally).
You can listen, or talk.
It is only from the former, one might learn.
You could wake up out of your slumber.

I’m not convinced this is a “setup”. Frankly, I’m surprised something like this didn’t happened a long time ago. Look at the unrest in the Hispanic community this past summer in Orange County, for example. It was only a matter of time before someone with some military skills skills and a marginal ability to regulate their emotional responses to things got upset. It is obvious from his past episodes that he had trouble regulating his responses and he blamed those who caused the emotional response for his reactions. His response to hearing people use the “n-word” was totally over the top, for example. Upon hearing the word for the second time, he explodes, jumps over the front seat of a car, grabs the person in the far back of the vehicle by the throat?
His emotional response is simply turned up to 11 and he seems to always feel justified in his over the top responses to things and it is always the other person’s fault. Having lived with someone having borderline personality disorder for several years, I am familiar with that pattern of behavior. I’m not saying he has BPD, that would take a doctor’s diagnosis. I am saying that I am familiar with way over the top responses to perceived “betrayal” or anything that gets the person upset. And the consequences are always blamed on the other person who caused the emotion, they never hold themselves responsible for their own reaction.
Maybe he realized when he calmed down that he could never clear his name now.
Maybe, I’m thinking he was a scumbag for quite some time. Like you say, his responses were well beyond reasonable.
But, this isn’t the actions of a BP person. This is the reaction of a sociopath. Even if what he says is true, which is highly doubtful, he’s killing people because he unfairly lost his job? What, he’s got the emotional maturity of an 8 y/o? He dwelled on it for years? He shames his mother by bringing her up in his diatribe! She didn’t teach him better than that? He remembers slights from highschool? He was a POS then and he’s a POS now.
I didn’t mean to make the claim that he is borderline personality disorder, just that I am familiar with the sort of over the top emotional response that is somewhat typical of that and other issues. Basically it amounts to being emotion driven rather than logic driven and being unable to resist the power of those emotions. Like the sensitivity knob to certain things is turned up to “11” or something. He seemed to really be upset about his military career coming to an end and that is going to be a common problem as the military downsizes in all services. There are going to be a lot of people who are going to be asked to leave and not really through any particular fault of their own so much as they are just going to need fewer people. He blames the loss of his military career on what happened in LAPD. If he did, in fact, lose his security clearance due to what happened at LAPD, it could well have cost him his career.
From what I have seen of what others have said about him, he does appear to be someone who got their way by being “forceful”. If he isn’t dead right now, he is going to have to lay low for a long time. I just don’t know if his emotions will allow him to do that.
The Left as a whole is insane now–surely that is apparent–and Dorner simply a violent man with issues, who resonated with that insanity; it fit his psychological make-up so well, he felt compelled to explode. The Huffington Post is full of Dorner wannabe’s. Blame whoever you like (LA police, black activists from Malcolm X to Barack Obama, past generations of slavery), if you can make the case; the point is he was the nearly-proverbial “time bomb waiting to go off”. The “much more that is going on here” is the general insanity, and most peculiar general incompetence of various “authorities”, in our time. It is the culmination of generations of dogmatic avoidance of one or another hard reality, in science and in the wider world, and the deep divisions among men wrought by the underlying, and widely held, dogmas.
His emotional response is simply turned up to 11 and he seems to always feel justified in his over the top responses to things and it is always the other person’s fault
In other words, the typical modern cop.
Rarely do I disagree with Steven’s excellent reasoning; this is one of those occasions. Dorner might be a wind-up toy, but he’s gone off the reservation. NO WAY the PTB want an anti-gun Obama-lover associated with this madness.
I don’t think it’s a false flag. I think it’s a marvelous demonstration of how cowardly the PTB’s enforcer class are when someone’s actually after them…and has the means to make it hurt.
Total. Screaming. Hysteria.
The only lesson the PTB might glean from it is how much boots-stomping-faces the serfs will endure–i.e. shooting up grannie delivering newspapers in the wrong truck–before they revolt.
The lesson the serfs are learning is exactly how little they matter when The Exalted Ones are in “danger”.
RE: Frankly, I’m surprised something like this didn’t happened a long time ago.
This did happen a long time ago. Trained soldiers came back from WWI and stopped putting up with crap from local yokels.

I can’t tell anymore when a comment is gonna go thru.
Even when it is just a good natured argument, for arguments sake.
It is not personal !!
Osama is dead according to the White House. They need a new antagonist to keep the public terrified of terror.
And I keep thinking of Wag the Dog with a lot of these news stories from the US.
How can you tell real from false flag?
By the political capital made from it.
Dorner called the father of one of his victims and taunted him on the phone.

Right …. Last week Obama was under fire about drone strikes on Americans, and suddenly the ultimate villain appears – which justifies an American drone strike.
Ah–now that’s a good point and weakens my “this isn’t a false flag” argument a bit. Well done Steven as usual.
So, a person is killed, and their father gets a phone call claiming to be the new public enemy #1. What would you believe if you were he?
Why would anybody ever lie about this?
Least of all the news media, who never lie about important or scary things.
In this case, I believe the nut on the loose might be the media. Why are we always ready to believe exactly what they tell us about yet another “three namer” lone nut? Especially when it’s bad?
Why is the story always simple enough for a first-grade comprehension level to understand and repeat?
Why does America, with only an average population density, manage to generate so many of these stories?
Oh, and just in time to introduce the meme of no-due-process drones-against-civilians-executions into your world, as long as the victim is crazy and scary enough, of course it’s justified!
That amounts to saying that Obama (or a cabal of “Drone Nazis”) is operating a Super Al-Qaeda to “transform America”, by setting up pins in private and knocking them down in public. I know, from the blatancy of Obama’s lies, that he (or whoever might be pulling his strings) is incapable of such intricate plotting. And I don’t think anyone can make a reasonable case for using drones to find and kill Dorner (even if he is hiding in a Muslim mosque, protected by other terrorists, he has no real freedom of movement in the U.S.).
Barry will tell us that even cops cannot be trusted with firearms. He will also point out that Dorner is a military veteran. Remember how the keystone cops in Norway had to ‘check out’ their guns after the shooting had already started?
Never let a crisis go to waste.
People are skeptical of these events as they match the cobbled up and staged events that Hitler used as an excuse for disarming the Jews. The lack of a clear story from Sandy Hook, unfounded claims of an AR-15 being used, others being present during the shooter, rumors of the Aurora shooter not having blood on him and a possible second shooter, and now this crazy fit the bill and would appear to be convenient. However, it is also true that we have a much larger country and years of stress that is understandably taking a toll. The only way to lose the suspicions would be to have clear reporting and a real effort to include and divulge the details.
