    My wife is from the Philippines who knows about typhoons since there have been a few she has experienced in her lifetime.

    The Island nation sits in some of the warmest waters of the world and the prevailing wind direction brings many near to over the nation on its way to Japan or China.

    I have been there a number of times and I can tell you the water is WARM to swim in!

    They are super sizing weather claims, have you noticed? Super storm Sandy, super typhoon in Philippines, etc. I’ll only take them seriously when they start using the expression “really super super duperific”, when describing weather events. 🙂
