   A heads-up on what is coming down the track:
   “Feds Buy Two Billion Rounds of Ammunition
   It’s not the number of bullets we need to worry about but the number of feds with guns it takes to use those bullets. There are currently more than 70 different federal law enforcement agencies employing over 120,000 officers with arrest and firearms authority . . . That’s an increase of nearly 30 percent between 2004 and 2008. If the trends have continued upward at a relatively steady rate, that would put the total number of federal law enforcement officers at somewhere between 135,000 and 145,000. That’s a pretty staggering number, especially when you consider that there are only an estimated 765,000 state and local law enforcement officers. That means that about one in seven law enforcement officers in the country works directly for the federal government, not a local jurisdiction.

     Looks like Baretta is putting some pressure on Maryland concerning new gun control proposals. They might move the rest of their operations out of state.

     In testimony this month in Annapolis, Reh, who oversees the plant, warned lawmakers to consider carefully the company’s future. Reh pointed to the last time Maryland ratcheted up gun restrictions in the 1990s: Beretta responded by moving its warehouse operation to Virginia.

     “I think they thought we were bluffing” in the 1990s, Reh said. “But Berettas don’t bluff.”

   Well, we certainly have to hand it to the Warmists. They’ve demonstrated an unfailing sense of comedy, although its surely not deliberate. Their fantastical and far-fetched predictions of catastrophic global warming I previously found annoying and ludicrous. But now I appreciate their comments simply for their entertainment value. The world needs a good collective laugh.

     Right. We don’t call them fearmongers for nothing. Their never ending predictions of doom would be only laughable if in fact a lot of people aren’t still scared to death by them. Why do they keep repeating over and over like a broken record the same bs? Their own words:

   “about 30%” ?
   why not “about 25%” ? or “about 40%” ?
   because a convenient ” T ” follows ?
   how can these people call this “science” ?
