Pachauri says warming must pause for 30-40 years before invalidating AGW theory. Why does this time duration keep getting extended? They make things up as they go along. None of their predictions are prospective – only retrospectively consistent with their pseudoscience.

Science has observed that due to gravity a body of water free from other pertubences tends to establish a uniform level.
This has even been used to keep height levels consisten during building projects.
It is therefore impossible for Louisiana to have higher “sea levels” than the rest of the world unless there is a temporary aberration such as storm surge or the Mississippi in massive flood.
McKibben is trying to alarm the stupid – apparently he succeeded !!!!!

Sorry Wild Bill, I live in Louisiana, have friends at the base of our boot, knee deep in the oyster beds and we see them often……….THERE IS NO Registerable sea level rise in south or north Louisiana. Must be big magic, gone when looking for it and doesn’t affect Mississippi, Florida, Georgia and Texas?
