Admiral Goes To Santa Barbara And Lies About Sea Level

Titley said that after the Navy asked him to look at climate change, he changed his mind about it, based on the preponderance of evidence from long-term models based on physics, which is very different from weather forecasting.

“I’ve told the Navy and Congress that we should expect a global sea rise between now and the year 2100 of about 1 meter,” Titley told a hall full of students and others Friday who attended the conference, called “Risk and Uncertainty and the Communication of Sea Level Rise.”

“If I’m wrong, I’m probably wrong on the low end,” he said.

This guy is the administration’s dedicated military AGW mouthpiece. What he’s supposed to know a lot about sea level rise throughn 2100 because he is associated with the Navy?

The admiral epitomizes the “Peter Principle.” Apparently, he missed the abundant and very public research that shows that the planet hasn’t warmed in more than 16 years, despite rising levels of CO2. His statements are based on scary general circulation models whose data have been tuned to show CO2-induced runaway global warming. Such artificially created impacts are not based on physics or reality.

It’s obvious the admiral is trying to score points with his political bosses by regurgitating Obama’s company line about “climate change.” He must be enjoying all the favorable publicity his silly comments have garned from the terminally gullible mainstream presstitutes. Among climate realists and real scientists, his comments are viewed as imbecilic rants.

    Sic ’em.

  4. Turps says:

Well then it will be easily verifiable, at roughly 11mm/year rise it will be obvious very quickly which orifice he is talking from. Unless of course it all comes in one go in the last decade.

  5. Dave N says:

“..preponderance of evidence from long-term models..”

Oxymoron from a moron; models are not evidence.

  6. Andy DC says:

Yes, there is skepitcism because nothing is happening or has been happening. Is that unreasonable? If you cry wolf for 50 years and no wolf has ever been sighted, isn’t there going to be skepticism regarding your claims about wolves?

    • Justa Joe says:

If you’re skeptical you’re supposed to STFD and STFU because even if it’s complete BS, which it is, they know what’s best for you..

  7. Russell Johnson says:

I’m convinced O’s running a lottery to choose the next moron to trot out before the world to proclaim climate change is destroying earth. Biden has won a total of 100 times on various subjects…………………..
