One of the long-running arguments has been the acceptance of Concealed Carry permits being accepted nationwide.

Which, if passed will upset several states, such as Illinois: (currently listed as a “right denied” state”) – States that are Right Denied DO NOT allow private citizens to carry handguns and do not issue concealed weapon permits (and do not recognize ANY other state’s legally issued permits).

I don’t see any Senate gun junk getting anywhere in the House, so I see this Manchin-Toomey dance as pandering to constituancies, and not law making.
Fox News started down the tubes after the Luffa/O’Reilly affair. O’Reilly got scared and started thinking about his “legacy as a journalist”. He was defanged. Rupert got defanged by the phone hacking mess. He sold Glen Beck out and is destroying the WSJ. He built them both up but he has been taken down. The only place to find any truth is on line. That is being attacked too. Notice the white house doesn’t complain about fox news anymore but they sure do the Drudge Report.
I live in California. It is almost impossible to get a CCW and certain STYLE weapons are banned with a grandfather clause for current owners who then had to register them!!!
The deal may allow others to carry in Cali, BUT, all our illegals won’t be able to carry anywhere as they do not have CCW’S!! 8>)
Just getting around to pointing out that ANY Federal law about guns is an INFRINGEMENT and furthers the leftards agenda, even if it does improve some areas, by setting yet another precedent of the Legislature and Executive having authority to INFRINGE our rights!!!
When Fox got rid of the Judge and kept O’Reilly their left leaning became quite clear!! Of course being partially owned by Soros and a Saudi prince probably has some effect!!
By the way, O’Reilly has been a raving Big Gubmint lover forever. I remember starting to dislike him years ago when he seemed to close every show with some problem that “the Government needs to do something about!!” My gut feeling is that he has the European Socialist disease!!
You are correct. O’Reilly believes a strong, autocratic central government is necessary to keep control, especially of corporations.

I wasn’t aware that taking guns across state lines was illegal. I guess that makes me a criminal many times over.
Either half of the country has already started to consider the other half criminals. I know I do, with respect to the Insane Left and the current racketeering administration (Obamacare is a racket, a con).
