Happy birthday comrade Lenin.
Speaking of Earth Day …

When is “Deniers Day”? I have all of these oily birds, a coal fired float made of dead baby seals and polar bear hides, and all ready for a parade.
🙂
You can borrow my stuffed Spotted Owl for a bow ornament, and some of my Pika slingshots if you need them.
Flaming Pika slingshots?
No additional info on the weather hottie? Sheeesh.
NWS Duluth showing 5-11″ of snow tonight with thunder possible.

Many records already broken, so this will just add more in a big way. Crazy April!
And yet we have this stupid crap from Wunderground … man, these people are so FOS…

This guy is such a POS, he knows this figure is false…

How many climate scientists agree that humans are causing global warming? If you asked the average person on the street, the response might surprise you. On average, the general public think less than half of climate scientists agree that humans are causing global warming. The reality is 97%. There is a huge gap between public perception of the scientific consensus on human-caused global warming and reality.”
I wanted to contact wunderground and ran into this in their contact page…
“Please do not contact the phone numbers or e-mail addresses above to report an issue or submit a complaint. Such e-mails will not be answered.”
Pussies.
Well, 97% of that statement is right:
“… There is a huge gap between…the scientific consensus on human-caused global warming and reality…”
There’s only a handful that says it’s “caused” by humans. Their actual survey says “contributed to.” They have to lie about the lie.
I spent Earth Day in my usual manner. I idled my large SUV during lunch hour down at the aquarium and threw flaming styrofoam cups at the baby seals. Was fun.
As an Earth Day afterthought it would have been nice to express my Earth Day thoughts via a message in the snow created by a combination of a large quantity of beer followed by a good long pee in the snow. I could then share my Earth Day “artful message” by twittering it world wide. There’s always next year. 🙂
Heh. My mother in Wyoming is still complaining about the snow.
Heads-up for victims of Viner Madness.
“Watch out where the huskies go, and don’t you eat that yellow snow”
It’s been a little quiet the last couple of years regarding early spring.

On the morning of April 20th, there were widespread subzero (F) temperatures in northern Minnesota, as low as -14!
I’m doing my part to save the planet, I converted my chainsaw to run on renewable fuel.
I fill it up with seal oil now.
