I ran Chicago a month after 9/11 (feared a terrorist might crash an airplane into the crowd at the starting line), and Boston in 2002, where we remembered those lost. I know the finish line area well.
My mother said she’s already gotten 3 calls/emails to ask if I was in the race.
Disgusting I’ve seen some on the the left quick to implicate unnamed right-wingnuts for the bombings.
Keep in mind that the Boston Marathon is an international event held on Patriots’ Day.
My prayers to all affected, and I condemn whoever is responsible no matter their ideology or motive.
