President Barack Obama said today at a press conference that he’s “not familiar” with reports that Benghazi whistleblowers are being threatened:

His previous comments on the subject included blaming YouTube and telling Comedy Central that terrorist attacks which kill Americans are “not optimal.”

If they are using chemical weapons then he said he would “rethink the options open to him”. The red line looks more yellow every day.

“I’m not familiar with this notion that anybody has been blocked from testifying.” A non-denial denial, since the accusation isn’t that people have been blocked from testifying but that they have been threatened.
…a rather strange and, to me, off-balance response for an administration whose messaging has been tightly controlled.
They seem to be genuinely worried.
He has gotten so used to lying, that he doesn’t even know what an honest person would have said – i.e “these are very serious charges and we are going to get to the bottom of it.”
As far as I know,”What does it matter” if he knew or not!
