Six Weeks After The Disastrous Fire

Six weeks ago we had a Chinook driven grass fire west of Fort Collins, which immediately prompted the usual suspects to declare the end of humanity.

Six weeks and a dozen snowstorms later, the burned area has turned bright green.

    Fire recycles the carbon much faster than decay. These fires make the landscape into an early seral stage which is conducive to an increase in undulate populations.

    Don’t forget that the inaugural Horsetooth Marathon was run through there last weekend and the main concern was all the snow (and mud from its melting), not damage from the Galena fire.

    Typical of the greens to regard natural fires as a disaster when in reality it’s a blessing.
    Those people really should get an education so they know facts from fiction and believes from reality.
